Guest guest
{Om Namo Narayanaya} Members of the list, Another Grecian tragedy to the boot, enacted. The hubris, the brother up in *arms*, jealousy, rage, killing of one's own brother. All the ingredients of a greek tragedy. The greeks only believed in destiny or fate and not in free will. It is the Eastern philosophy, more so Hindu scriptures that have advocated free will. Who would have imagined that the brother he had played with would turn his killer. How inadequate is the human being, not able to discern who his detractors are, who would be a source of danger among those whom he sees and interacts with. This being the case, how would one expect him to recognise/battle the shadripus with himself, embedded and enmeshed deeply into the layers and *invisible*? Promod Mahajan was an epitome of the sauve politician, pragmatic, charismatic and a strategist to boot. He could have done much for the country in terms of development-technologically. His life has been brutally cut short. Every human being has shortcomings, some serious some not so serious, but his/her death does affect us. May The Divine Grant Peace to the Departed To predict with four birth times is not like predicting from lagna and chandra lagna. It is in itself a futile exercise and to cast aspersions on those is beyond definition. Best wishes Nalini {Om Namah Shivaya Namah Mallikarjunaya}
