Dear Arjun

at last I got to see some real critique write and who read the real message

in the POSTING rather than the construed, distorted drift, critisism for mere

critisism is the preivilege of RR alone, and the poll some wanted to be

conducted will be won by him hadsomely, is ample proof. I whihs we see him

wrime a\on astrology related matters than mere jibes, sarcasim overflowing.

I've seen arju, Krishnan, asutosh, Akil Jain, Tatvam-asi write astrology

related RR alone `special dig postings'.

your observations is correct. two decades ago in hyderabad, when i

studied a course in Central Insutite of English and Foreign

Languages (CIEFL), they gave us a book which narrates common errors

in indian english which narrates all the things mentioned by you. i

think their publications are available for sale. their website is

www.ciefl.ac.in

this also reminds me of a real incident happened in an MNC where i

worked 15 years ago. once the bengali boss asked the server to get

some "bada". the server asked the boss in hindi "sir i would get

the large one but what is it that you want large". then the boss

scolded the servant for his not knowing what "bada" is. then i

explained the servant that when bengalis speak anything with "ba" he

may presume it to be "va" and told him that what he is asking for is

the south indian "vada". of course later we got idlis besides "bada

or vada" and relished the same.

with best wishes

Messenger with Voice. PC-to-Phone calls for ridiculously low rates.
