Dear Friend Abiram ji,

You have sun and ketu in 5th from from your moon sign of capricorn and also

5th from your 8th (where suna nd ketu posited in Taurus sign) belongs to

virgo(also 12th from lagna). The lord of 12th is init's own sign but with saturn

in ardra nakshtra of rahu aspected by jupiter from 5th.Incidentally this is also

5th from 5th.All these configurations have delays, denials and certainity pf

progeny too.Thank God,in navamsa jupiter in fiery sign of aries is having 5th

aspect on 3 important palnets(in kendta) but rahu-ketu axis.Make sure when ever

such situation arises(like one in the past of miscarriage) a Doctor 's constant

attention is advisable and helpful to fulfil wish of having progeny.why to pin

Having Guru in the 5th house

Respected Pandit Arjun ji and Tatvam Asi ji,

I have been following your critique on Guru and its significance for the 5th

house and the progeny with a lot of curiosity. I do not have much to contribute

save for my own experiences that go as under:

Details:

ToB: 5 PM

PoB: Delhi

DoB: 08-06-74

Going by the preceding details, i have a Tula lagna, and therefore, Shani

becomes the santaana kaaraka as well as the yoga kaaraka.

I have Rahu in the second, Chandra in the fourth, Guru in the fifth, Shukra,

the lagnesha, in the seventh, Soorya and Ketu in the eigth, Shani and Budh in

the ninth, and Kuja in the tenth house.

My wife has already had a "medically unexplainanble" miscarriage in the year

2005. I was running Rahu mahaadasha, Ketu dasha, and Budh pratyantar at that

time.

I am only a learner of jyotish and thought that the incident could add to

the point in case.

I also have a question for the learned gurus. Although, going by the

classical definition, Guru in the fifth is not construed to be favourable for

the progeny, does Shani (the yoga kaaraka) being the santaan kaarak help. Also,

Guru will be in the fifth house soon, gochar-wise, followed by Shani's dhaiyya

in November.

Please do illuminate.

Thanks and Regards,

Abhiram Mishra

Respected Shri Krishnan Ji,

Thanks a lot for your revert. I will give you more details of myself and my

wife:

My details:

ToB: 5 PM

PoB: Delhi

DoB: 08-06-74

Date of Marriage: 10-03-04

Month of miscarriage: Happened in mid February and finally, medically

terminated in March 05. We kept trying to save the baby (about 2 months of

pregnancy) with the best possible medical assistance and therapy.

Wife's details:

ToB: 4 AM

PoB: Varanasi

DoB: 13-04-1979

Some important events in my life are as under:

Completed college (10+2+3) education in 1994

Got admission in PGDBM in 1995, finished in 1997

Did not have to wait even a day for job, got selected through campus

recruitment. Joined my first employer on 02-06-1997

Relinquished my job in July 2000. Started own business

Closed the business in April 2005

Joined my present employer on 16th May 2005

Sir, I would be extremely grateful if you could spare some time to analyze my

chart and answer my following queries:

I got married in March 2004. My wife had a miscarriage in March 2005. She is

again in the family way and the expected date of childbirth is in the first week

of May 2006. Please tell me if the childbirth will be okay this time. The well

being of my wife is of utmost importance to me, over anything else.

I had been running a business (software and content development) since 2000.

I had to close it down in April-May 2005, after having incurred considerable

cumulative losses. At present, I am serving in a software development MNC, in a

junior-middle position. Please tell me if there are chances of an improvement in

my career prospects/financial situation. My finances are still awry.

Loss of a child, failure of my business, and debts, broke my back. For some

time, I was overwhelmed by mental turmoil and suffered from disorders, such as

hypertension and depression. I had to be admitted to a hospital for several

days. I still suffer from hypertension and have to take medicines thrice a day

to keep it at bay. For a brief period, I also had contemplated committing

suicide, but by God’s grace, came out of it. One of my business associates

actually committed suicide, given his financial troubles. How is my health

likely to be? Someone told me that since I am running Raahu mahaadasha, all of

my problems had to happen. Will it continue like this until this mahaadasha ends

in 2012?

With Regards,

Abhiram

I take this libert to comment on a question that has been put forth to the

masters on the subject of 5th house Jupiter. More specifically as far as

Mishraji query is concerned I am of the opinion that the

miscarriage(unexplained) should also be checked for in the wife's horoscope.

Also I feel only looking at the lagna chart would not give conclusive answers

beyond doubt. Therefore divisional charts alongwith the interplay of Saturn the

karak in this case and Jupiter by virtue of placement as also their transit

should illuminate the solution.

Looking forward to a explaination by the masters on the issue raised by

Mishraji
