There is a very nice book titled: Eternity of sound and science of Mantra" by a spiritual master from Inida which can be downloaded from the literature ( books and articles in English) section of www.awgp.org. Also there are some good articles on the subject in various issues of a free online spirtual magazie ( www.akhand-jyoti.org) hope you will enjoy the book.
