i am not sure how many of the readers have read K N rao's works in AM

astrological maggazine later in times of astrology and other forums.

HIS double transit and weather interpretation etc were good tools to try.

I USED IT with raman's ayanamsa and also modified some of them for finer

tuning good good results on child birth almost to the start, lagna also

he had limited it to say

2 stars of the parents either side or their trines

which makes for 18/27 stars in all...! to predict as a possible star for a

child.

so improved it will explain in a later mail

NOW HE also wrote a book on the Man and his mission on B V RAMAN's

successful predictions ranging from world war 2 timing, its outcomes, the

partition of India, assination of Gandhi, break up of east pak. china war,

Emergency, Pak wars, resignation of Nixion, epedemics to cattle in UP, all

years before

K N Rao called it the greatness of RAMAN and Hindu astrology and was an

active member of ICAS stood on every platform, TILL HE BECAME WELL KNOWN and

did some research efforts with a good team as well.

but all his interactions and association with YOGI's and other mahatma he

claims, has all been wasted in the BOOK PLANETS AND CHILDREN

where he brought in the astrrological magazine articles of his BUT PACKED it

with contempt, hatred, venom, ridicule of BV RAMAN, his knowledege on

astrology....!

I remember when in in an ICAS MEETING 2 MEMBERS WHO HAD THEIR DIFERENCES,

made some heated scenes in it were called aside by RAMAN who asked both r u

interested in astrology? when both said yes he said leave it there, rest will

be taken care. by their interest alone. [not animosity]

but i was shocked to read the book Planets and children by KN RAO i admired

RAMAN and him the same till then. now I hope people if they have read this

book can add their own thoughts. VDYA VINAYA SAMPANE....?! does this bell ring

somewhere?

BUT KEEPING RAMAN'S LINES in shape nothing personal must get in.

ICAS as an Institution to promote jyotish vidya under the stewardship of Shri

B.V.Raman was intiated way back in 1998-99 and succeeded introducing jyotsh

courses in university level.he argued case for introduction of jyotisha in

university level and got supreme court decision.

As a former civil servant,K.N.Rao has become a legend in Astrology and his

predictions in mudane astrology no doubt are of very high quality.today if the

litterature in jyotish has become popular versatile no body can forget the great

effort made by him in making available very good books.All his books are very

popular.Even today as a very frequent vistor to his house and also as my guru I

personally owe a lot to him for all that initiation he made in jyotish vidya.

A very renowned and a popular figure in media,we see him on TV explaining

jyotish background of various happenings.

Today he does not like to deal with forecast of various personalities.yet his

articles in Star Teller every now and then makes very intersting and informative

reading.To thing of him and his contribution to this field is a great tribute to

a living legend.what ever may his forays into jyotish and his differenceswith"

the father of modern astrology"late B.V.Raman,to day if jyotish has been put on

a podium and acquired popularity ane eminennce,these two great personanlities of

21st century and their contributions will remain as always monumental.may be

their schools of thought have become different.yet they seved for the cause of

jyotish.let us hail and salute them.certainly let's be proud as they are
