Pranams.

The poems were , can you call them poems? They are the reflections of

the anguish of the heart, the outburst against the seeking of the male

child for lineage. But will the world hear it?

It can only rant, become oppressive for daring to raise your voice

against the injustice. Abuse you for the courage to stand up against

the all male bastion.

May your call echo in the wilderness, reverberate and bring back

compassion and love into (in)humanity.

God Bless you sir

Nalini j,

it the scince that misleads and the society that markets foe sexual

discremination.we all know mother representing 4th and father(dual 9th or 10th)

join together to fulfil the dreams.yet all pains for mother whether a boy or

girl as she has to take care of them till they become self dependent.it is long

way to go.Craving for boy appears to have become a matter as the methods

deployed for spacing children became very popular.Astrologically,we have many

theories that can promote the wish of a native.with lack of respect, sincerity

and honesty towrds our values we succumb to science and it misleads.let me also

quote a case of my colleague.

My friends daughter at a tender age of 22+got married to a boy and has to move

out from parents.it is but natural that in the same year of marriage she was in

the family way.so mother of the girl went to son in law place to support the

newly married lady.I think after 3 months the young lady was brought to parent's

palce.being a very big city/metro doctors from amnoetic fluid determined the

baby will be a girl. That mattered all to termination in a month's time under

able guidance of metro oriented mother.later the girl was sent back to son in

law place/Now the issues:

young ladymother became a obsessive compulsive patient.

she will not move from the bed

she feels around her bed lot of moving insects

all dust around and feeling sick

This pattern of behaviour remained even as on date though after an year or so

they got a male child. The mother yet could not recover from the experience of

termination of pregnancy.

The wish to avoid unwanted sex (female child) is now available off the shelf

as if Doctors can facilitate nor for that matter.

1. Astrology.could be of some positive help to guide but not medicine.

2. Nisheka lagnam and timing of conception as an indepth study may bless for

a male child.

3.Astrologers are not Brahmas to create something new

Let's hope the use of science enlightens but not discriminates people by

sex.whether boy or girl parents have to be contended.

Sri Krishnan ji,

Science always is a double edged sword , it all is in the hands that

employ it. Instead of embracing the good of Science, human beings

have always craved for the darker side. What was thought to provide

succour to the helpless unwed mothers and victims is misused. What is

society? Are we not society? When individuals of the society , like

the so emanicipated mother in your post behave irresponsibly,

callously, disregarding values who is to blame. How many voices like

that of Sri Tatvamsiji can be heard amidst the cacophony, din caused

by the senseless minds? When a mother herself forces her daughter to

commit female infanticide, what can be said of the much maligned

mother-in-law. A mother is always a mother at heart, whether rural

or metro and if the selflessness of the love is tainted what can be

said of the misfortune of the society.

When most of the offspring of the present times leave for and live

abroad, the parents live in the country of the birth. What does

having a son do to alleviate the loneliness than having a daughter.

Hence it is the primary duty of the parents to care for the children

till they are self sufficient,( as you rightly pointed out) and

thereafter, it does not mean that they become dependent on the

children for various reasons. It is better they are self reliant,

less of expectations-less of frustrations.

These are my humble thoughts, members of the list may excuse if I

have offended anyone.

Well spoken, Naliniji.

I will just add on that queries which discriminate,

queries which seek such information should be actively

discouraged in public forums and ignored.

The querist should apologise to Tatvamasi ji.

Rishiji,

Nice to hear from you. yes. I strongly concur with you, the querant

should apologise to Tatvamasiji.

But to force an apology from someone so graceless as not to have

apologised on his own? The best would be what you had suggested,

such discriminating queries be discouraged and IGNORED

best wishes
