Although I am professionally a Teacher but rest may be a little bit of God's Grace that I am serving the seekers free of cost. I even don't use Transits, Aspects (Drishtis), etc. All the Member Astrologers in this Forum are highly respectable for me. But I am a down-to-earth person and of a reserved nature. Though it may encourage a few to brand the astrology is not a science, but infact it also suggetss that there is still lot to learn & there are things which are still left untouched. Its great to have members using various types of techniques under the single roof in this group, it will always serve as a whip to life long students like me to strive for more & more knowledge. Even Science and scientists have different opinions about things and phenomena in science, particularly those that are not fully known, all evidence is not in yet or Jury is out, as they say. Weather sciences for instance are not perfect yet, and even areas in math, physics, chemistry. I think the real problem is not whether astrology is science or not, but whether it is investigated using the scientific method or not. The latter is a demonstrable, verifiable (especially verifiable by others and not just the primary proposer or proponent), and reproducible etc (the yoga has to work in different hs repeatedly, if not always). Truth be told, it is this rigour that is missing in the way astrology is practised, researched and taught. Don't want to start another thread on this, but thought I should express my views and clear any air that may again have become stiffling!
