Classics Books by earlier modern writers (earlier than 1980) Books by later modern writers (after 1980) Magazine Articles Correspondence or similar courses Web articles Newsgroups Software/databases Other sources <a score can be used to mark each of these> 0-unimportant, 1- slightly, 2-moderately, 3-very important And answer some or all of the following questions: =How long have you been studying jyotish (theory)? =How long have you been studying charts, seriously? =What was the first source amongst the above that you picked up? =Which were the most helpful in the long run? =When did classics (translations acceptable) enter your learning? =What are you missing most in classics, modern writings (no examples with author names necessary) OTHER comments (BRIEF please) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The fact is no one is perfect and they should start saying it more confidently and maybe it will take some pressure away and let them focus more on the chart as an experiment, an experience. Doctors do that all the time, they do not know everything or when a patient will die, the better ones remain curious, don't know it all and stay open to more learning.
