Guest guest
Dear ALL, I do not know why and how TOPICS like this pop up in some minds, that too with the intention of confusing the already confused! Whether Shiva taught it or Krishna, to Arjuna or Markandeya - becomes the main point rather than the content of it!!! Prior, it used to be the powerful discussion of advaita - dvaita - sankhya - jn~aana - karma it speaks of! And now it has come to cover pages of the book! Soon you will see the wrappers in focus! This is not pointed at some person but an observation in general; This fight between Krishna - Shiva, Shaiva - Vaishnava, Saankhya - advaita etc.... make way for new 'religions'(perhaps too big word?) like Jainism and Buddhism and a great loss to Vedic religion. Usually, before reciting Gita, there is a practice of reciting prefacing hymns, one of which reads: Advaitaamrita varshinIm bhagavatIm AShTaadashaadhyaayinIm.... A vaishnava student was found to recite this as: "Shree Dvaitaamrita varShinIm....." Let us turn inward, whether it is a book or our mind! humbly KAD , "Radhika" <radvish wrote: > > If again God is just a Bahya roopa as quoted by one of the members, > then why does astrology ask one to worship Shiv, say for a bad > Jupiter or Krishna for strengthening Moon and so on and so forth. Why > have different planets been given different Lords governing them?? > Cant we just worship one with full devotion uni mind-set and see > things transforming themselves.
