ATTACHED PICTURE: Genuine Valampuri Lakshmi Shank (Dakshinvarti

Turbinella Pyrum) AND bogus Valampuri (Lightning Whelk). Note, genuine

Lakshmi Shank has natural ridges in the conch cavity, but the bogus

ones are smooth (have no ridges). Every genuine Shank, both normal and

special, have 3-7 ridges in the conch cavity.
