the glory of ruby and sun was evident in vedas, puranas, upanishads,

shastras and in itihasas (mahabharat). in the indian context, i

would not be exaggerating if i say that original rubies have become

extinct, except with few kings (who inherited) or in museums. few

burmese rubies are found better than the ordinary rubies available

elsewhere.

 

it is written in several holy scriptures that a ruby is equated to a

kingly status and the wearer of a ruby would become a king or have

kingly comforts. unfortunately i was not able to get similar

beneficial results of the other stones and their linking with

planets in the holy scriptures.

 

with this backdrop i found twelve mukh rudraksha was recommended by

lord shiva in sivapuran that it represnts lord sun and it mentions

that (since sun is the lord of the solar system) the wearer of this

12mukh rudraksha gets the sun's shining in all the twelve signs or

houses. in all customers to whom i suggested this 12mukh rudraksha,

they got miraculous beneficial results. this 12mukh rudraksha

costing just one hundred US dollars is also the best substitute of

genuine ruby or genuine round ek mukh nepalese rudraksha which is

also extinct, even though indonesian round ek mukh rudraksh with

little oval shape instead of round are available easily.

 

needless to say in astrology it is written that if sun and moon both

are week in a chart, none of the rajayogas or beneficial results

promised by other planets in the chart will not happen.
