Combinations - what is it and what they mean ?

Dear Learned members,

 

Often during the analysis of the chart especially for recommending

gems, most astrologers mention about combinations. Like in one of the

analysis it was stated 'Saturn is lord of 5th and 6th House, placed in

5th house and showing the combinations of 4,5,6,7,11'. What does this

mean and how to know which combinations are good?

Hello Friend,

In Astrology,the fundamental combination is of tripod.When lagna has a

meaningful well defined combination with pancham or navam,any Astrologer heaves

a sigh of relif.Fro ex:lagna lord in 5th or 9th,both being trikonas and lagn

signifies a kendra and trikona,the significance of these houses and bahvas

becomes very clear.It is believed the lords of these are supposed yogakaraks for

any native.

In Bhavartha Ratanakara for each ascendant hoe yogakarak planets

emerge,badhak's work and way maraks though lord of kendra particularly 7th house

act are well explined.

While suggesting remedies be it gems or in several other ways,the lords of 5th

and 5th and 9th's house position ,aspect and conjunction are always matter of

judgement.

while kendras have always a significant say in the life of any

native,placement of planets in kendras give an edge and often yogas arising out

of these planets in kendrs mar or make natives present and future.
