Hi,

 

We have two astrologers suggesting two different perspectives on the house

of death. Tarunji regarding it as 8th house and Balaji regarding it as 2nd

and 7th.

 

I am not sure if such disconnect on fundamentals is encouraging to amateurs

or people who are beginners to this art of astrology.

in my opinion what balaji ji has written is what is mostly followed

by the fraternity including me. i too gave the same hints in my

reply to shri tarun ji but each astrologer has his own choice to use

whichever system or ayanamsha he wants to use.

longevity. Please notice the sign interchange between jupiter and venus (eigth

lord) both in natal chart and on the day of death. Also, the combust state of

venus when the infant died.

 

Here, the dashas and transits have coincided with natal problems to

create the mrityu yoga.

Looking a bit closer there is little conflict in predictions of both.

 

Eighth house denotes among other things longevity.

Second & Seventh houses and its lords are decidedly "Marakasthaanas"

meaning Death inflicting places/planets.

 

There is a subtle difference between grant of longevity & death

inflicting situation.

 

Ill disposal of eighth lord indicates death

Placement or malefic aspect of 2nd & 7th lords invariably denote death.

But both at the right dasa & bukthi.

 

Logic suggests that both 2&7 and 8th houses, disposition of Ascendant &

Moon with respect to these houses need to be considered.
