Amitabh Bachchan's birth time : War time

Dear Vishu ji,

 

>From September 1, 1942 till 14th october 1945 the Indian standard

time was advanced all over India , including modern Pakistan and

Bangla Desh , by One HOUR for war purposes of day light saving.

During the War it was made equivelent to 6 and a half hour ahead of

GMT.

 

Therefore any recorded time of that period should be reduced by one

hour to get the IST.
