dear brohter mohanraamji

having seen your contributions in the other group, i feel this group

too needs contributions from highly learnt and knowledgeable people

like you. earlier partha too gave similar contributions like you but

somehow he is not available now. i would be personally happy to see

such cognoscenti in this group. from your mails, i have developed

great respect for your guruji dakshinamoortiji and seeing your own

knowledge, i feel both you and your guruji are equal, guruji in

giving knowledge to you and you in sharing that knowledge with us.

you both have excellent knowledge in tantra and matra besides

astrology whereas i am still studying them for the past few decades.

as you too rightly observed, only ruby found its mention in the

scriptures and your throwing more light on the subject gave a more

clear understanding for the querents.

besides atharva veda, several tantra samhitas/shastras written by

sages prescribed how to use various gems and their powders for

curing disesases.

there are few religious places in the south where this

real "nagamani ruby" is emblazoned by the dieties. could you kindly

share details of such places so that interested members would have

an opportunity to see them.

looking forward to your continued knowledge sharing and with best

wishes

arjun
