Guest guest
Dear Tanveer, I think you are on right track about venus being the cause of "LACKING IN COMMONSENSE" Venus's work is well defined and he rules over senses wich do not obey mind/brain. The thinking is done thro' heart and heart has no intelligence. I have seen this trait in Tula lagna, or tenth house Venus, and lagna venus positions more than other places. Venus in sani's house, with Rahu also have been seen to give this problem. Guru in 2nd house have been seen to make one a day dreamer. More can be added by other learned friends. Guest guest
Dear Tanvir and other members, thank you for welcoming me to this respected forum. In my humble opinion you are correct that Venus can be implicated in a case of poor common sense. Venus represents our ability to have pleasure and comfort. Venus represents the choices we make that will influence whether or not we can create such satisfaction and whether we can be content at the sensory level. One example I can think of is in the chart of the twentieth-century Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe, who was notorious for showing a lack of common sense, espcially in her relationship choices, and she was deeply unhappy, as well: 6/1/1926, 9:30 AM, Los Angeles, CA, 34N04'00", 118W15'00", +8.00, DST-0, Lahiri: 20:15 Karka Lagna. Though Venus is strong in overall Shadbala, which reflects her remarkably sensuous beauty, Venus is very weak in Dig Bala opposite the 4th house; this could signify the star's inability to direct her life toward truly fulfilling activities and thus to find happiness, which could be interpreted as the inability to make good choices, i.e., a lack of common sense. Obviously there are many other things to consider that led to the problems with Venus, such as the fact that Venus is a temporal malefic and lord of a kamasthana, etc. Thanks, Juliana , "Tanvir Chowdhury" <ultimate@s...> wrote: > > Dear all, > > Can anyone tell me, that lacking in common sense very seriously etc. - > is that one of the negativities of Venus? Guest guest
Dear Tanvir and others, The term 'common sense' itself is a relative measurement. Its definition may differ according to customs and practices or even religions and social conditions - simply DESHA-KAALA-VARTAMAANA. So, Venus may play a vital role whenever and wherever 'common sense' is connected with KAARAKATWA of Venus. As rightly noted, Mercury rules 'ability to judge which is right or wrong at a given place, time and situation'; Venus can ALSO be an answer. But it does not stop at that because, ANY OTHER PLANET can also be an answer! It is the Kaarakatwa, which matters in such a case. In general, whatever is the planet, LAGNA lord holds the key, along with the 5th(intellect) and 9th(morality) lords, in judging the 'common sense' irrespective of faculty it rules. yours humbly KAD , "Tanvir Chowdhury" <ultimate@s...> wrote: > > Dear all, > > Can anyone tell me, that lacking in common sense very seriously etc. - > is that one of the negativities of Venus? Guest guest
Dear Friends, Associaton of lagna and lagna lord apart from 5th and 9th goes without saying. If common sense is collectivity of all the five senses that is reflected in the collective noun of common sense, the role natural atmakarak sun has to be involved. As far as Venus it may be considered for instincts. If some thing easily understandable without any strain on mental faculties is common sense.probably any where and every all humanbeings have the capability of this innate quality. krishnan kadrudra <kadrudra wrote: Dear Tanvir and others, The term 'common sense' itself is a relative measurement. Guest guest
dear friends all luminaries have spoken enough on common sense deriving from various planets and various houses. in my thought of old school this lack of common sense occurrs due to affliction of 5th house, 5th lord and/or mercury. with best wishes arjun , vattem krishnan <bursar_99> wrote: > > Dear Friends, > Associaton of lagna and lagna lord apart from 5th and 9th goes without saying. If common sense is collectivity of all the five senses that is reflected in the collective noun of common sense, the role natural atmakarak sun has to be involved. As far as Venus it may be considered for instincts. > If some thing easily understandable without any strain on mental faculties is common sense.probably any where and every all humanbeings have the capability of this innate quality. > krishnan > kadrudra <kadrudra> wrote: > Dear Tanvir and others, > > The term 'common sense' itself is a relative measurement. > Its definition may differ according to customs and practices or even > religions and social conditions - simply DESHA-KAALA-VARTAMAANA. > So, Venus may play a vital role whenever and wherever 'common sense' > is connected with KAARAKATWA of Venus. Guest guest
Jai Jinendra, As per my Observation Mercury is a ruler for common sense. Reason is Mercury shows mind functioning as seat of perception and feeding that perception back into for renewd application. As it governs once acquisition of knowledge from which common sense develops. Mostly Afflicted, weak mercury people suffer from common sense or speaking problems etc.As mercury by himself is not enough to give good or bad results, so it is always an involvment of other planets which makes one low. panditarjun2004 <panditarjun2004 wrote: dear friends all luminaries have spoken enough on common sense deriving from various planets and various houses. in my thought of old school this lack of common sense occurrs due to affliction of 5th house, 5th lord and/or mercury. with best wishes arjun , vattem krishnan <bursar_99> wrote: > > Dear Friends, > Associaton of lagna and lagna lord apart from 5th and 9th goes without saying.
