Guest guest
Dear members, I am a novice of Jyotish and have been studing several introductory books on the this science. In "the Art & Practice of Ancient Hindu Astrolgy" by James Braha, the author mentioned: When a planet is debilitated in Rashi but exalted or own in Navamsa, the effect of the planet for the house is good. Can we take this interpertation literally? What if the planet in question is a malefic like Mars or in a dusthana house? Looking forward to your kind reply. Thank you very much. Guest guest
dear friend simply put, if a planet is good in the rasi chart and its strength is improved in the navamsha, the result of that planet would be better. similarly if a planet is good in the rasi chart and is debilitated in the navamsha chart, the planet's result would be average. as you must be aware, strength of a planet is measured on various factors and only its result is measured after seeing the navamsha. with best wishes arjun , "Roy Kamiki" <nutrideias@s...> wrote: > > Dear members, > > I am a novice of Jyotish and have been studing several introductory books on > the this science. Guest guest
dear friend mukehs ji your observation is valid. in natal chart, say a planet's score on a scale of 1 to 10 is 10 and in navamsha it is 1, the net result would be 5 or 6. this is the reason why navamsha is juxtaposed to the lagna chart in any astrology software or referred to by any astrologer before reading the chart. in lalkitab system, there is no navamsha or any other charts like arudha lagna, indu lagna, pada, upapada and dozens of divisional charts. even in the lagna chart there are no signs, only houses. despite this single chart based reading, lalkitab readings are incredibly true which is why it is attracting all astrologers towards it. in my limited knoweledge on stones, stones only receive the energies from the respective planets to increase their power. correct diagnosis of as to what planet needs to be strengthened for alleviating a particular suffering of the native depends upon the astrologers abilities. i was taught that stones for malefics shall never be worn. also the stones should be precious, genuine and not semi precious or cultured or manmade or created. since i do not recommend stones, it is not prudent on my part to say anything on stones also. however, rudraksh are the only items in the world which are recommended by none other than lord shiva himself. of the one to fourteen mukh rudrakshas, lord shiva has assigned a lord for each type of rudraksh and also the benefits of wearing each type of rudraksh. this is the reason why rudraksha are worn even by the renounced people (sages and saints). with best wishes arjun , "mukesh_vats9992" <mukesh_vats9992> wrote: > > dear pandit ji, > in such a case of exalted planet in the natal but debilitated in the > navamsha does gem therapy work to strengthen the planets actual > results. > regrds..mukesh > , "panditarjun2004" > <panditarjun2004> wrote: > > > > dear friend > > > > simply put, if a planet is good in the rasi chart and its strength > > is improved in the navamsha, the result of that planet would be > > better. > > > > similarly if a planet is good in the rasi chart and is debilitated > > in the navamsha chart, the planet's result would be average. > > > > as you must be aware, strength of a planet is measured on various > > factors and only its result is measured after seeing the navamsha. > > > > with best wishes > > arjun > > > > , "Roy Kamiki" > > <nutrideias@s...> wrote: > > > > > > Dear members, > > > > > > I am a novice of Jyotish and have been studing several > > introductory books on > > > the this science. Guest guest
Dear Members of the list, Dr. Raman in his book "300 impotant combinations" had observed that a planet who is deblitated in rashi but exalted in Navamsha confers Rajyoga. I have seen horoscopes with above combination but my experience is too little to have experienced the effects of such a planet. Guest guest
Dear Ashutoshji, Thanks a lot for sharing your database with me. Yes indeed the horoscope has two such planets viz Venus & Mars. But the native is yet to enjoy the mahadasha of these planets, save insofar the MD of Mars which he had experienced when he was a child. Both of these planets have so far worked only in the capacities of AD lord. Would it be prudent to attribute his success to these two planets? Probably Jupiter conjunct with Moon in the seventh bhava bestowed him that success. Request you to kindly enlighten me on the role of Mars & Venus. Is that the native had exceptional rise during the bhukti's of these planets? Guest guest
Dear Akhil and Tarun, The chart has pisces ascendent and the moon-jupiter combination is in eighth house. The first rise came in saturn bhukti, when he started earning. In venus bhukti, he switched to his own business and succeeded there. In mars' bhukti too, the business expansions and diversifications took place which again brought good results. The jupiter-moon yoga, gaj-kesari yoga, which is most beneficial in pisces lagna, is seen here. Saturn, the eleventh lord, placed in second house, is aspected by this yoga. He shows all qualities of this yoga. He is six feet two inches tall and weighs around ninety five kilos. The negative effects of debiliated planets which are normally observed, is not evident in this case. He is bold, helpfull, adventurous and very thoughtfull (mars) and enjoys all comforts of life very well and has a happy marriage (venus). These aspects can be attributed to these two planets' exaltation in navamsa. Navamsa is more than a simple divisional chart or a chart for spouse. In vedic jyotish, the janma lagna is considered the body and navamsa as its "praana" or life. If janma lagna is a tree, navamsa is its fruit. No planet can be conclusively studied without navamsa. Guest guest
Dear Ashutoshji, Role of navamsa probably could nat have been described in a better way than you did in your mail. Indeed if Rasi chart is Body Navamsa is pran. Exactly as you said, the success must have been given by Saturn. Jupiter & Moon, though in conjunction giving rise to yogas are almost on bhava sandhi and hence has low residential strength and thus capable of giving results pertaing to that bhava only to very limited extent. However, thier aspect has a higher residential strength and more capable of giving results. Thanks a lot for your lucid portrayal of the analysis. Guest guest
Hello Members, If I analyze this horoscope with Lahiri Aynamsha, which is consider normal. I have Pisces lagna its lord in eight house. Eight house means the house of death and obstruction kindly note if we have to see a person life the most important house is number one house, which is lagna because where ever it is placed or has a link. His life will resolve around those activities. In this horoscope the lagna lord is placed in eight house the house of obstruction, further his fifth lord is also placed in eight house. Moon placement in eight house is worse because it is there it is meant for debilitation. It has been aspect by the 12 and 11 lord, which is Saturn, now whenever Saturn aspect moon you, can see that that person will have a very trouble full life. And when it is lord of 12 then you can see its worse affect. Ok if this is the combination in a chart it shows that this person will live a life in much trouble but this combination is good for spiritual growth because both 12 and eight have a major role in the growth in respect of spiritualism. Regarding gajkesari yoga it is not so effective in eight house it is well consider good in angles i.e. first, fourth, seventh, and 10th house. See astrology is very simple we don't require any great yoga's to learn it is very simple just learn what houses means and what is basic nature of the planets then you can predict with accuracy. i am attaching here the horoscope with both lahiri and mine. Guest guest
dear friend mukesh ji one to nine mukh rudraksh are attributed to sun, moon, mars, mercury, jupiter, venus, saturn, rau and ketu respectively. besides these planets, all one to fourteen mukh rudraksh represent various lords. even the benefits of rudraksh are different from one to another. few years ago i started recommending rudraksh only because stones have become unaffordable for common man. only a good quality stone would produce the best results whose cost (total weight say 6.25 quarter) starts from 15000 and goes into lakhs. hence i wish to calrify to the group members that i praise the efficacy of stones only if they are of best quality. cheaper and semi precious ones are of no use or will not produce the desired results. whereas rudraksh starts from rs.50 upwards to the most costliest rudraksh rs.14000 for the 14mukh. i recommend rudraksh for a particular native only after seeing his chart. hence please post the native's birth details and also the problem. with best wishes arjun , "mukesh_vats9992" <mukesh_vats9992> wrote: > > pandit ji, > which rudraksh would normally be associated with strengthening > mercury, shukra and the moon. > regrds..mukesh > , "panditarjun2004" > <panditarjun2004> wrote: > > > > dear friend mukehs ji > > > > your observation is valid. in natal chart, say a planet's score on > > a scale of 1 to 10 is 10 and in navamsha it is 1, the net result > > would be 5 or 6. this is the reason why navamsha is juxtaposed to > > the lagna chart in any astrology software or referred to by any > > astrologer before reading the chart. in lalkitab system, there is > > no navamsha or any other charts like arudha lagna, indu lagna, > pada, > > upapada and dozens of divisional charts. even in the lagna chart > > there are no signs, only houses. despite this single chart based > > reading, lalkitab readings are incredibly true which is why it is > > attracting all astrologers towards it. > > > > in my limited knoweledge on stones, stones only receive the > energies > > from the respective planets to increase their power. correct > > diagnosis of as to what planet needs to be strengthened for > > alleviating a particular suffering of the native depends upon the > > astrologers abilities. i was taught that stones for malefics shall > > never be worn. also the stones should be precious, genuine and not > > semi precious or cultured or manmade or created. since i do not > > recommend stones, it is not prudent on my part to say anything on > > stones also. > > > > however, rudraksh are the only items in the world which are > > recommended by none other than lord shiva himself. of the one to > > fourteen mukh rudrakshas, lord shiva has assigned a lord for each > > type of rudraksh and also the benefits of wearing each type of > > rudraksh. this is the reason why rudraksha are worn even by the > > renounced people (sages and saints). > > > > with best wishes > > arjun > > > > , "mukesh_vats9992" > > <mukesh_vats9992> wrote: > > > > > > dear pandit ji, > > > in such a case of exalted planet in the natal but debilitated in > > the > > > navamsha does gem therapy work to strengthen the planets actual > > > results. > > > regrds..mukesh > > > , "panditarjun2004" > > > <panditarjun2004> wrote: > > > > > > > > dear friend > > > > > > > > simply put, if a planet is good in the rasi chart and its > > strength > > > > is improved in the navamsha, the result of that planet would be > > > > better. > > > > > > > > similarly if a planet is good in the rasi chart and is > > debilitated > > > > in the navamsha chart, the planet's result would be average. > > > > > > > > as you must be aware, strength of a planet is measured on > > various > > > > factors and only its result is measured after seeing the > > navamsha. > > > > > > > > with best wishes > > > > arjun > > > > > > > > , "Roy Kamiki" > > > > <nutrideias@s...> wrote: > > > > > > > > > > Dear members, > > > > > > > > > > I am a novice of Jyotish and have been studing several > > > > introductory books on > > > > > the this science. Guest guest
Repected friends just look at my chart with four planets in navamsa in uchhamsa. but as such no rajjoga. 25th jan 1962 @ 15.55 Bhatinda Pankaj Sharma astrologerashutosh <astrologerashutosh wrote: Dear Akhil and Tarun, The chart has pisces ascendent and the moon-jupiter combination is in eighth house.
