MBTI and its Father! WAS Mandi and Gulika

Raymond,

Umm... err... you forgot to mention the original *rogue* who really

started it all before the mother and daughter and Kiersey got in to

the act -- and that rogue was more one of -us- than *them* if you

consider what he contributed to the glowing and glittering firmament

of psychology (many governments and industries now hire based on

psychology profiles, I kid you not!). He gave us, among other things

the concepts of:

= Synchronicity <how more astrological can you get, dasha and transit?

>

= extroversion, introversion and precursors for MBTI (16 types)--

kendras and hemispheres and more of all that ...

= Archetypes <no further puritanical comments required, I hope,

jyotishis?>

=Collective conscience/consciousness <karma written all over it,

right?>

= Rebellion against earlier norms, status quo and earlier gurus even

one's own <that rings a few bells I hope, eh -- jyotishis?> ;-)

and of course

= Memories, Dreams and Reflections, the autobiography! He managed to

write it all in one go, one volume ;-)

Rated 'A' by Rodden but there are a lot of other entries.

See record # 2835 in Astrodatabank if you have access to it (probably

also on their website).

What brought this on?

I attended an MBTI session yesterday (talk about *synchronicity*,

eh?). I was scored as an IJ by the sombre psychologists, one

extrovert the other introvert, by the way, but *pox on me* -- I

scored exactly fifty fifty on N and S and T and F! I was given a

choice -- an opportunity to be flexible and to be INTJ, ISTJ, INFJ,

ISFJ ... maybe there were a couple more four letter words that MBTI

et al could describe me by -- though all of them were a lot better

than what I have been getting recently on jyotish forums/fora lately,

overtly and covertly :-(

Then they did a True Colours test and for those who are familiar with

this categorization -- guess which party I went to, first and then

the second one? Blue, Orange, Gold or Green?

Man -- Jyotish is so much more direct and black and white ;-)

Sorry if I am boring anyone who has no idea what is going on or

doesn't care! It is the KARMIC cue for them to make sure they block

this poster, for ever and for sure for sure! Now that is really abot

being disciplined, jyotishis!

Peace!

RR

<PS: Sorry Krishnan dada, I do not want to confuse you and I hope you

are not following this thread, but this one really deserved its own

folder>
