Mercury Mahadasha

Dear Vattem Krishnanji and other list members:

 

I am slightly at loss to figure out the extent to

which my Mercury Mahadasha is likely to throw me in

dumps !!!Though it is the fifth lord, placed in the

first (with Taurus ascendant), it appears to be very

very badly afflicted. In addition, it may also be

combust. If we go by nakshatra theory, then again it

is in the nakshatra of Moon which is badly placed

(sixth house).

I was expecting that though it won't give me any rise,

it would also not make me pauper. However, if the

life's trend is any indication to go by, I am sure to

be reduced a pauper !!!

Though I understand there may be more needy people

than me, if you guys would spare some time off, it

would be helpful.....

Just to let you know, I am also wearing 4 carats of

Emerald; I was suspecting the adverse manifestation of

Mercury Mahadasha so I had bought a very very costly

Emerald (slightly over $ 2000); but I am not sure

whether the stone is helping me. It is very very

difficult to beat the karmic sufferings.....

Another thing is that I have been devoting at least an

hour in puja for the last two years or so; but for the

last six months, I have increased my pooja time to

almost 2.5 hours every day. I am doing Maha Mritunjay

Mantra (three hundred times every day), Shukra's

mantra (three hundred times every day), Mahalaxmi's

Shatnamavali, Buddha Shatnamavali, and Karna Mantra

(108 times). Every day after my pooja, I feel calmed

down; but there has been no perceptible difference in

my condition as far as physical life goes.
