dear friends

when the gujarat earthquake killed around one lakh people including sever

thousand school children, several people asked me panditji, do you say that all

the kundlis of these thousands of people have same lagna, same planetary

positions, same dashas and antardashas and their death also written to occur in

the same ghastly manner, that too at the same time. similar is the case when

hundreds of school children were killed in a theatre in russia while watching a

drama. yet similar is the tsunami which killed lakhs of people at the same

time. honestly, based on astrology, i have no answer till date and would only

be grateful if any more learnt astrologers unravel the fortuitious coincidnece

of lord yama embracing all of them at the same time.

however, the government of india in its various documents and also the insurance

companies mention these as "ACTS OF GOD". in this sense, such mass killings

have the approval of god or god has done that act since they are termed as acts

of god.

some may say that because we are not unable to answer the queries based on

astrology, we are taking refuge in the name of god by terming them acts of god.

for a very simple basic question of how to find the gender from a chart, i have

not yet found a foolproof way. there were some rules but all were proved wrong

when i come across similar charts of the opposite gender.

Mass accidents and acts of terrorism, twins and many more such

realities pose a real challenge for jyotishis because of the very

reasons you have pointed out. I am not aware of a really well-

documented body of work or research in which these mysteries and

puzzles such as one you describe have been conclusively proven. In

other words, there is no easy bag of tricks that will answer these.

I find it rather difficult to predictably second guess the thoughts

and thinking of even people I know and communicate with. Knowing what

is in a God's mind would be infinitely more unfathomable. And since I

am sure victims of this disaster were not just hindus but other

religions too and perhaps a few nastiks as well, who knows what all

the Gods and whoever looks after atheists were doing or thinking when

the blasts occurred.

Lastly, I do not believe the planets as we know them in the sky

are 'making' things happen. They are like the hands of the clock (or

digits if digital) which when they point towards 12 generally

indicate that one would feel hunger. But the hands of the clock do

not CAUSE the hunger.

May be you should take a sample data of all those dead in earthquakes, bus

accidents, aircrashes, war etc.

Ironically, in mishaps like earth quakes families get wiped out TOGETHER.

There must be something similar in their fate.

At the same time, unknown people get killed TOGETHER in aircrashes etc.

I think we should take several such incidents and take several samples -

related people, unrelated ones, Indians, foreigners and analyse. There

should be a TREND lurking somewhere.

Astrology is a science that cannot go wrong. One who applies it can go

wrong.
