Guest guest
Dear Balaji, Unfortunately, I have not come across good books on samudra shastra published recently, in English or any other language. All the books which are available on this topic are full of only 'Palmistry' in the name of Samudra Shastra. Yes, many books published around fifty years ago can be found, but to my knowledge, none are in English. I have gathered my knowledge from some hindi books which are with a few of my fellow astrologers. Samudra Shastra is very usefull when we do not have the correct birth details of a person. It has always been a part of jyotish and a jyotishi should know such arts to come out with correct predictions. Not many astrologers know how to tell the physical structure of the native by simply looking at his chart. Some knowledgeable ones can do the reverse too, i.e correctly give the horoscope details by looking at a person's body parts. Still, I have Jyotish! :-) <<<Not many astrologers know how to tell the physical structure of the native by simply looking at his chart.>>> This would I'm sure be useful for astrologers like you, who actually meet people face to face. Unfortunately, 99% of the readings I do are on the Net, so I can't "see" whom I'm reading the chart for! ~~~~~~~ Balaji Narasimhan * http://www.sherlock-holmes.com/balaji.htm Author, Sherlock Holmes: Solutions from the Sussex Downs Editor, The Partial Art of Detection ~~~~~~~ Mail - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005
