Guest guest
Dear Anil, Though I hope, no answer can give you perfect understanding of what happened, analysing the events with Karma, astrology or spirituality would simply complicate the matter more! It does not mean that you have learnt nothing from that; but you have! To me, it appears that your experience with the bird shows: 1.You lack patience required to judge in an emergency - whether catching bus is more important than the life of a small bird caught in traffic! 2.You can even get to lower strata becoming selfish at times - by not even signaling the poor bird with horn/light. 3.You take advantage of weaker existence for selfish puposes - would you have done the same thing in case the animal in front of you was an elephant?! No! Because you would be the loser in that case! 4.You set an example which is not so good, for your son! - Do not care for anything when you are heading your aim!? You never even cared to see what happened to the creature! Would you do the same, when the bird was your son's pet? 5. You have learnt that you should have left home earlier to avoid these kind of bad events. The tyre-puncture case shows: 1.You feel yourself a better judge and do not care for others. - this incident may be a result of your restlessness; or pre-occupied mind and duality of thought in yourself! I have not used any spiritual or astrological principle to analyse this event; I am dragging out these from your mind! I remember swami Vivekananda's words - "Education(Knowledge) is the manifestation of the perfection, that is ALREADY in man". You know what you have done; repent for it; do not defend! You are neither away nor nearer to salvation; but it is inside YOURSELF! I recollect a sanskrit Subhashita: Pratyaham pratyaveksheta narashcharitamAtmanah | Kim nu me pashubhistulyam, kim nu satpuruShairiti || (Everyday, a person must examine his/her own acts - whether it should be weighed with those of beasts or with those of benevolent persons) I know, I am pricking on the wound again, but I also know that you know - that there is a pacifying medicine on the other side of the needle! Ahimsaa paramo dharmah!!! hope you know now what you have learnt! yours humbly KAD , "anil" <anil_bindal2000> wrote: > This morning while driving my son to bus stop, i saw a bird on the middle of the road. > i blew the horn and had to stop almost till it flew away.
