Your friend seems to be in a confusion over getting married to a girl of his choice or to go by family wishes. Not because his mars is in 8th house, but their are no of reasons behind my this assesment. 1) His ruler of 7th house is saturn and it is in 11th house with Venus and Sun which is a typical yoga for delay and if marriage is cnsumed earlier it shows divorce. 2)Pluto and Uranus are in 3rd house wgich again according to my group reseraches are signifying late marriage and if consumed earlier divorce or some other severe problem. 3) Mangal is in 8th house where it is considred manglesh but it will become here manglesh as it is aspected by the ruler and malefic Saturn by its full 10th aspect. Saturn is with Venus in 11th as i wrote above not a good factor for marriage. 4)Jupiter is in 7th in debilitation having a rulership of 6th lordshipwhich agains is a strong factor for some negativity with regard to marriage. So my advice is that he should go for marriage after 2007&2008. As earlier marriage is going to bring problems.
