particular native. or even more depends what you

consider as chart like sarvottabhadra chakra,

kalachakra etc. There is no site which provides all

the charts online. However, you can create charts

using some good astrology software like Jagannatha

Hora (free) or Parashara Light 6.0.

I guess correctness is the issue. I have my own chart made in the year i was

born by

two different astrologers. both are same. but differ in current software

charts..

my DOB is 8 nov 1963 delhi male 07:38 am

what would be the correct house for Mercury ?? Budh ??

I still donot know so the whole interpretation changes..

similarly for my son.. 20 jan 1990 13:20 hours delhi.. what is the correct

position of

Sat ?? 8th or 9th house ?? Patri says 9th house, software says 8th house..

dear friend

after myself finding the computer wrong few times, i have started rechecking the

chart from the manual 100 years panchang i have and also calculating the langa

chart manually. these are accurate as far as the rasi chart and lagna chrt are

concerned. so when computer fails, manual panchang is the alternative.

Dear All,

I have my own software with source code in Fortran for casting Horoscope and

there are many factors due to which there could be differences. The formulae

used for fundamental equations of motion may not be accurate , one might not use

the length of variable to take care of numerical degeneracy or if any planet is

just becoming direct or retro , there could be error in calculations.

Also one could use different Ayanamsha or wrong epoch ( starting point ) and

many more possibilities are there due to which the calculations can go wrong.

Fortunately , most of the modern and commercially available software do give

correct results.

Dear Anil,

You are right , olden days pachangs ( ephemeris ) used to have horrible printing

and calculation errors , hence we used to make use of Raffel's ephemeris ( which

were Sayan system based ) and deduct the Ayanamsha from it for getting accurate

results. This was between 1974 ( when I prepared my first horoscope ) till 1985

when I wrote my own software. Subsequently many more user friendly and accurate

software got available and all the hassles of preparing Horoscopes ended. I

remember we used to take about 2 hours to prepare a detailed horoscope !
