I got married in April 2001 and right from the beginning,there have been problems in my marital life. My wife speaks very harshly and constantly argues and fights with me and my parents. I am the only son of my parents( I have 2 younger sisters) and it saddens me to see them treated this way. If I try to intervene...my wife fights with me too. My parents are old ...I cannot leave them and I have a son...so I cannot leave my wife either.I request to all of you esteemed members to kindly analyze my wife's & my chart and suggest some remedies. Will there be peace and harmony in my family? Guest guest Posted August 18, 2005 Report Share Posted August 18, 2005 Dear Raj, I see your wife's argumentativeness coming from her Scorpio Mars conjunct Mercury, who rules communications, and from malefic and weak Leo Saturn in her 2nd house. The 2nd house deals with both family life and with speech, so a malefic like Saturn there causes both harsh speech and domestic problems. She could do propitiations for Saturn to help with this. Yagya or mantra would be the best way to go as a gemstone for a malefic is generally not worn outside of the malefic's dasa or bhukti. You also have Saturn in a fiery sign in the 2nd house, so it may be helpful for you to propitiate Saturn, as well. For the Mars-Mercury conjunction she could strengthen Mercury through remedial measures such as mantra, gemstone or yagya. That may help Mercury's benefic nature to prevail over Mars' confrontational nature. Mantra's can be found at www.jamesbraha.com if you don't have access to them elsewhere. Saturn's should be begun on a Saturday during a waxing Moon, Mercury's should be begun on a Wednesday during a waxing Moon. Both should be recited 108 times daily. Something I'm confused about is that she has a very powerful and benecial Venus in Libra in her 4th house. This indicates a very peace-loving, affectionate nature at heart. Have you tried just talking to her about these problems? I've read that people with afflicted 2nd houses often don't realize the affect their arguing is having.
