In the present day moden world with technological advancement, cesearian cases have become a regular feature for birth of a child. I have come across few cases where parents even decide the date and time in which the operation to be undertaken. These things rises a question in my mind about the correctness of predictions by any astrologer based on chart to that of the fate of the soul which is pre-defined by HIM. Either the labour pains start much before the prescribed time or some other problem like unavailability of Operating room or surgeons comes up. The child is always born when it is destined to be born. We cannot control birth and death. Whatever lies in between these two is controllable and prediactable to some extent but not fully. You have predicted some job change for me ! infact I started to get calls from different people for offers. Recently I got a call from a company in Jordan where they are asking me to fly down to their country for interview. It seems that they are interested in taking me. Can I take this offer or shall I wait for a better offer from a better country. Some how I am not comfortable with working in Jordan. Also there are astro-dictum available for judging FORCED birth. There are also great details in astro-classical texts describing 'shastra ghaata' to the mother while a native is born ie use of a weapon at birth. Besides, there is a wonderful DEFINITION of 'birth' according sages: kritevAdhAnalagnam tu tretAyAm puMsavanam(jalodayam) tathA | dvApare shIrshodayam syAt kalau bhUpatanam smr.tam || which means: The Lagna defining the time of birth shall correspond to conception in KritaYuga, pumsavana process(some say jalodaya = burst of water bag around the baby) in TretaYuga, the rise of HEAD(or body in general) of the baby at birth in DvaparaYuga and the GROUND-TOUCH of the baby in KaliYuga ie now. How genius were they to anticipate techno advances! So, even now, in kaliyuga, in which caesarean birth are becoming more in number, still the dictum is clear and holds good! Whether the birth is natural(even if it is unnatural or supernatural) a birth is a BIRTH now only at the ground-touch moment of the baby, astrologically! Ground here is EARTHY existence and is not to be confused with real sand or land touching the baby. Time of conception or nisheka is a key time-stamp wrt birth and the life os a native. Guest guest Posted August 18, 2005 Report Share Posted August 18, 2005 dear friends as the member fraternity expressed, no astrologer can authoratively give a date of birth for the baby in the womb. the child would land on the earth only when he or she is destined to by god. however, a deep insight in the horoscope of the mother can reveal whether the child would survive or not, whether it would be a premature delivery, wheter it would be cesearian or normal delivery, the health of baby and mother etc. etc. but nowhere i come across how to read the date. since so much research has gone into this vedic science by expert computer professionals and genuii, i would be grateful if any member astrologer share his knowledge on predicting the date of child birth. with best wishes arjun kadrudra <kadrudra wrote: Absolutely right! You may make all plans thro surgery etc , with best techniques, nature will take its own course. I have seen many such cases. Hypothetical cases can be answered hypothetically.Mind is like a monkey,cannot be controlled. A simple issue like correct time of birth was examined in another group.After all the detailed computer calculations/evaluations,it revealed you can be right only around 85%. Remember this group contains stalwarts in the field for over 25 years, Even gender determination is a tricky exercise. Whatever time and place a child is born is the time and place the child is supposed to be born on .... My belief is that Nature/Destiny/Divinity/Planets/ etc have given the parents the thought of when and how the child should be born.. And a pointer of this is the great concept of "Nimitta" ..
