I have heard from one of my friends that his astrologer told him that

he will get a job in a company with initial "S" and same thing abt his

to be wife also. i.e. the initials.

I was wondering is it really possible to tell these things ?

Dear Abhijit,

 

There are rules in astrological compendia which link letters and

sounds to astrological symbols and variables. If purely using

astrological rules (as known) these concordances sometimes work but

at others do not. However, I have heard of many divinators who were

able to tell their clients the starting letters of future employers,

stocks and names of spouses etc. It is not clear whether they use

purely astro-logic or are aided by other channels of information

(divine powers etc.).

 

Also, I have heard that nadis often have such readings where the

letter or name of parents or cities is given. I do not believe that

nadis are entirely based on astrologic, though this is debatable and

might even offend some individuals (apologies in advance).

 

If you are really curious about this, try and find an anthology that

was published by Richard Houk in 90s (Vedic lessons by 36 teachers

or something similar -- maybe do a web search and you will find a

source). Anyway, in this anthology there was an article by Mimi

Mukherjee who is a student of Hart DeFouw and in it she described an

interesting method of picking stocks based on 'aksharas'. The

concept can be tested and expanded to other areas and you can

explore and do some research in that area from that launch point, if

you wish.
