Guest guest Posted July 10, 2005 Report Share Posted July 10, 2005 ashutoshji namestee, i am sorry for being one the member who sent u mail privately. actually i am learning astrology from last two month by self reading and at present i don't know much about it. my freind for very much in need and he does not believe in astrology. but after getting the first reply from u about his problem he was stunned and he made so many quaries. what ever replies he recieved regarding his problem ur reply was the accurate and therfore he want the further quaries reply from only u. there fore, i give u so many private mails (what i fell is that matter is very sensitive and with my help if he get some solution which is feasible his life will be happy) . i agree with u that for such personal quaries one should pay. i have given ur email id to my friend and he will conatact u in near future whenever he will come to delhi. he wants to meet u personally. i am sorry for it and in future i will take care of it. i hope that u can understand my position. i also hope that i will get reply from u in future reading my quaries which i will POST ON GROUP ONLY (Maxium of these will be related to my doubt comes during study). I see no harm in personal emails provided there is a reason for it. ( Like no response from Group , Matter too personal to be discussed etc ). Also the language in this kind of email should be polite and not demanding. In last few years I have even developed good friendship with some of my clients and although their problem is resolved now, they like to keep in touch to say hello. I have even met few of them when I traveled to their county or they have met me in India. Those from India call up sometimes , send SMS and meet when they travel to my place. So I am very happy with these newly acquired friends. But, after the queries have been answered one should always revert back to the group. Otherwise, there will be no one posting and answering queries on the group. Dakshina is a formality which respects the time, effort and knowledge of a teacher or an astrologer. Here in Delhi I have many friends who are astrologers. An astrologer is always negatively or positively biased about his own horoscope. So, we seek each other's guidance. Believe it, dakshina is paid there too. I have paid fees and have received fees too. By paying dakshina we are respecting jyotish vidya as a science and as a profession. When a religious person goes to temple he puts some coins in the daan-peti and also distributes the prasad after offering it to gods. There also, some sort of fees is paid. In this group, for discussion purposes, all knowledge is free. But, when seeking personal one-to-one guidance, always be ready to pay the fees. That way a professional and well-meaning bond will develop between the astrologer and you. I have many clients whom I have met through astrological groups only. Some have met me personally while with some online chat and mails are the only means of contact.
