Astrology suggests many ways of remedies to strengthen weak planets and also counter strong planets.As you each planet has a deity as it's lord.prayers do help the natives.As far as time and action it for the individual concerned. Good you have opted for suggesting the remedies through Gems(based on transit?) and belive it to be simple.Anything to overcome odds the native has to:1.Have faith that he can handle2)belif that it is not long time he succeeds3) strengthen his lagna by his actions and corrections.If these courses can be suggested through the devine sciences it is a great help.As far as faith is concerned it is not for Astrologer to mention about and the time is only indicative but the natives 9th and 10th(Dharma and Karma bhavas) have to be free from all distractions to achieve.
