Dear friends

My reading of Anurag Jain highlights the fact that the reading of a chart

changes drastically when the ascendant is changed. Even though generally

conjuction of planets in the native predict as to what he would become, it also

changes according to which house it is taking place. So, my request to all

question seekers is to supply correct information so that correct results are

predicted and remedies suggested if required.

Coming back to ashutoshji's lamenting of Indian Universities not having jyotish

as part of their curriculum, I personally feel jyotish is a branch of divine

science and it needs no sanctification from any institution. Other branches of

the divine science are clairvoyance, meditation, yoga, mantra and tantra etc. I

have seen illiterate and uneducated people awakening their kundalini without

even knowing what ida, pingala, sushumna nadis are, how the five vayus work,

what the seven chakras mean etc. They have been to taposamadhi for several

months and have attained several sidhis and are helping the poor and needy, they

never browse the net, read newspapers or watch tv but keep solving problems of

the suffering who visit them in their secluded places in small rooms without any

comforts. Some of them are still in the midst of the metros without name and

fame. In my interactions with several such people, they always advised that the

more service you render freely, the more blessed

you are by the god.

So, I always lay emphasis on solving the problem instead of debating or

analysing on the problem. It is like a patient is suffering from pain in a

hospital and the doctors are busy in the airconditioned meeting room discussing

on colourful powerpoint presentations as to how and what is causing the pain.

I also appreciate the "twice blessed" best wishes from Satishji for Anurag Jain,

IAS.

With best wishes and regards

Arjun

Dear Anurag,

We all at JR wish you all the best in your efforts. As a civi

servant, it will be helpful if you strive to give Jyotish a validity as a

subject in Universities. It is really a pity that a science which has developed

in India is being taught and researched in many foreign universities but not in

any Indian University except BHU. It is still considered a non-science here.

Whereas, psychology, philosophy, metereology, etc are taught everywhere.

I was a student of psychology. But, astrology has widened my

understanding of mankind.

Ashutosh.

Dear friends

because the ascendant got shifted in my software may be because the place of

birth has got miscmatched, this has arisen.

As per saggitarius lagna, congratulations in advance anuragji. You not only

get success in the civil service exams but also find your name in the top ten.

Career wise, the movement is only northwards. However, there are some problems

related to your marital life which you may consult later after few years.

WIth best wishes and congratulations again in advance.

Dear Arjun Panditji,

With due respect I'd say that perhaps some confusion

occured. Because in my chart the sun is in fifth house in aries, saturn and mars

in 10th house in virgo, ketu and moon in lagna in sagitarrius, venus in pisces

in 4 th house, mercury in 6th house in taurus, jupiter in 11th house in libra,

and rahu in 7th house in gemini. Perhaps the chart got transposed somewhat Sir.

Because rashi-wise the chart is correct, but house wise, the things have tilted.

Still a lot of thanks Sir that you paid to my call. But from the upper alignment

I suppose the lord of the house of luck is sun which is in 5th house and

exalted. Also its mahadasha will begin from sep, 2005. So, Sir can this be a

good factor?

Kindly enlighten...

Very Sincerely

Anurag

Dear friend

According to the details furnished by you, Saturn and Mars are in Lagna

(Virgo), Ketu and Moon in house of comfort (saggitarius) and rahu in house of

karam (profession). Venus is exalted in Pisces and is in 7th house. Mercury is

in the house of fortune (taurus) and Jupiter is in house of wealth (Libra).

Lastly Sun is exalted in Aries but is in the house of death.

With all the malefics in the kendra, mars (you are a manglik) and saturn in

the lagna and sun in 8th house, civil service would not be successful for you.

Several astrologers practice several ways of reading a chart. Someone

prepares a voluminous 50 pages report giving various lagna charts and other

statistical analysis.

I simply look at the lagna chart from which 90% of the person's profile is

visible. In Lalkitab, only lagna chart is considered that too without any

signs. Still it reads more accurately.

With best wishes and regards

Dear Arjun Panditji,

I'm new to this group. My name is Anurag Jain. The dob is

11 May 1982, 9:30 pm. I was born in Panna(MP), India.

Sir I want to know as to which chart is more prominent in case there is

conflict- birth or navamansha. My sun is exalted in birth chart, and also the

lagna is sagitarrius. However in navamansha it is delibitated as it is in 8 th

house, with jupiter. The lagna in navamansha is vrishab. I'm seeking a career in

civil services. Can i succeed?
