Namah  Shivaya Avram

I don't know any of the details of Swami P's illness. His  early  illness

was more than his back.

::It's been awhile since I read the bio. Speaking with him years back all I

recall is that he was bedridden due to his back, a condition which still

remains. I do not recall the other conditions.

In his  first book he talks about how sick he was

and how he  went to see  Mother (I think that's one reason he  met Her).

In the book he talks  about coming to the US and seeking medical help to

no avail. To tell you  the truth I am not remembering the details, but

know he was sick for a  long time, not just his back.

I do feel a little weird talking about this  in a public forum, but he

did write about it and it is pretty well  known.

Had no idea the sands of Kerala are so radioactive. The whole thing  is

very interesting.

::It's not so interesting as distressing! that's why they want to mine it.

There is a big hullaballoo about mining the coast for minerals. The Swamis are

against it, telling me that they will just take the sand and not replace it

at  all, just leaving the area a dump. So, enjoy your radioactive bland sand

then,  what can I say?

Avram, blackly
