Guest guest
Dear Richard-ji: I have Venus in Pisces in the First House, so I love jewellry and gemstones. But I don't think any of my planets would benefit from wearing a vedic gem. Venus is exalted in Pisces, but conjunct Mars and opposite Saturn. Mercury, the Sun, Rahu, and Jupiter are all in my 12th House (yuck!), and there's that Sun combust thing, and Rahu conjunction going on. My Moon is waning in the 8th House (not very auspicious!). Maybe Ketu in the 6th House might offer a perverse benefit, encouraging moksha. Someone suggested that I'd benefit from giving charity of an emerald to a student on a Wednesday... but how can I afford an emerald? Are there ANY upa-ratnas that I would benefit from wearing? Or should I just give up on gemstones, and look for reasonably priced rudrakshas? I guess the most affordable way I'd have of appreciating gemstones is to purchase your informative and beautifully illustrated books! Do you have a new edition coming out soon? -- Len/ Kalipadma February 26, 1951, 8:06 AM New York City Terms of Service.
Guest guest
Hi Len, Being a gemologist most people think I push gems. And I do. You would benefit from wearing a 10 faced Nepali Rudraksha (just ONE) set with the Navaratna, all flawless, or without any gems. But Dos (10) Mukhi would be benefical. If you can consider all the 9 planets in your chart, and you find one to be Anukul or favorable (for the most part) then use that planet's gem. Guest guest
Namaste Richardji, What should be minimum weight of gem to get good effect. Is weight should be more than 3 carate ?. Does this weight is applicable to sub-ratana's as well. Regards Vishram Richard Shaw-Brown II <rsbj66 > wrote: Hi Len, Being a gemologist most people think I push gems. And I do.
