Dear Rajkumar,

When a distressed person approaches an "astrologer',he is essentially

looking for a counsellor. The distress areas are provided by the

querist, every query having an inbuilt answer. The astrologer observes

the planets their permutation combinations and the likely events

fructifying, favourably or unfavourably. The catch lies in conveying

the not-so-happy future events in a manner which requires attitudinal

adjustments in the querist. The position of Moon shows the resilence

level, which must be recognized, the answers being conveyed to the

maturity level.

To give you an example, decades ago our family doctor was going for a

very major operation with survival chances minimal, astrologically.

My father was their family astrologer, knew the grave

situation, called the elder brother and suggested that it would be in

the best interest of the family if a will was made as a" routine

precaution".The doctor was being operated by most renowned surgeon in

the best hospital of the city, the' success', almost guaranteed,as he

was earlier operated.

The frame of mind was therefore prepared. The operation

was 'successfully 'performed however complications developed and

within a week the patient died.

What I mean to convey the astrologer prepared the family for the

worst, as death can never be predicted. It can be any situation, it

makes the astrologer humble ,a good human being,a well wisher and the

same time offering professional advice.

Astrologers are not infallible.Every prediction is not by the rule

book, intuition plays a major role, enhanced by pure mind.Everyone has

a different curve of life and distinct. We should recognize and accept.

Best regards,

by looking at his horoscope.A good astrologer can also be a doctor

tehr by saying that he can take those vegetables or fruits for better

living. believe me , both have a strong link-psychology and

astrology. U know the truth, u know how to express the truth.

This reminds me of some distance calls yet time i get from my friends and

relatives abruptly and seeking time as well as remedies.

The times are also so odd and even prashna kundali too indicates no immediate

solutions and remedies. But these people in problem are so anxious and you need

to really counsel them in terms of psychology as well as Astrology.

Ofcourse being psychologist is always an added advantage if one is able to

really link it with signs and lagna for interpretation.

I do this as it helps me a lot and in this platform i find many questions put

have psychological basis than astrological needs.it is difficult to make out

whether questions posed as urgent are to satisfy their ' mind' than to know of

the Astrological basis

Do not display cynicism on astrology

Dear friends

I enjoyed your joke in a lighter vein that "going to an astrologer gives

momentary relief till the time the person meets another astrologer".

OK, whosoever expressed such cynism, please address your query to me and I

would definitely give you an answer. But, for sanity, please do not

criticise astrology itself.

I repeat what I said some time ago that even though ones fate has been

written already from birth to death, by invoking the grace of god one can

change the destiny. Simply put if you do more self-less service and more

good deeds, god's grace would help you get out of the malefic affect of evil

planets soon and increase the affect of the benefics. Similary if you

indulge in more bad deeds and hurt and harm as many people as you can, the

benefics stop giving their good affect and your death would be sooner than

expected. Remember the lifestories of our sages. Viswamitra was a king, he

left the palace, sacrificed everything and did tapas and became a sage and

saint with so much power that he could challenge even brahma to create a

heaven on his own. Similary Ravana also left the comforts of palace and did

tapas near Manassarovar (Mount Kailash) and got so much powers. It was a

different matter that this power or siddhi was used for wrong means. Learnt

fraternity may remember how

he conquered the nine planets and ordered them to be in their best position

at the birthtime of his son meghnath. What happened then was a big story.

So, friends, besides seeking astrological solutions, do as many good deeds

to get good.

With best wishes to all

Arjun
