Lasy but not least is: They seem to conflict, so are they totally

Our sages were so clear aboput what they are trying to convey:In Shad Varga they

Certainly no contardictions except we fail to see the logic or we on our own

The dasa of the sixth house lord would be good?

The dasa of the planet in the sixth house would be good?

Transits through that house would be good?

Also, what is the relationship, if any, between shadvarga values and

Balaji Narasimhan

Suparna ji - 30 Jun 1973; 2:20 PM; Amritsar [31n35, 74e53]

Suparna ji,

You have Tula Lagna and Mituna Rasi, and Lagnadipati is in the

10th, conjunct 9th lord Budha, which is good. However, in your

chart, Raja Yoga Karaka Sani is considerably afflicted by being

combust with Surya and also by Kuja's aspect.

One good thing in your chart is that both Sukra and Sani, who

are benefics for you, are considerably fortified by being Uccha

in Navamsa.

Guru is Neecha in your chart, but gets Neecha Banga because he

is Vakra. Additionally, Kuja, who would be Uccha in Guru's

place, and Guru's dispositor Sani are both in a kendra from

Chandra, and this also provides Neecha Banga. However, some

problems will still be there.

Right now, you are running Sani Dasa [Aug 1998 - Aug 2017] and

Ketu Bukti [Apr 2004 - May 2005]. Sani, though a Raja Yoga

Karaka, and possessing a good Shad Varga Vimshopak in excess of

15, which renders him quite benefic, has a very poor Ishta

Phala/Kashta Phala score of 10.9/48.6, which means that he will

give some agonies.

Sani is also in Kuja's nakshatra Mrigishira and also aspected by

Kuja, who is inimical. Additionally, Sani is also combust with

Surya, though this is not very serious because they are over 10

degrees away.

However, the biggest problem for you, career wise, is created by

Ketu, who completely eclipses both Chandra and Surya. Chandra,

who is already afflicted by being conjunct Surya since you were

born on an Amavasya, is therefore in quite a bad shape, and

since he is the lord of the 10th, this will hurt career.

Additionally, both Budha and Sukra are in Chandra's house, and

moreover, the presence of 9th lord Budha in the 10th and the

10th lord Chandra in the 9th is a very good Parivarthana Yoga,

but Chandra's affliction reduces the benefic aspect of this yoga

considerably.

The 2nd concerns finances, and its lord Kuja is in the 6th,

which hurts the significances of the 2nd. Sani's aspect on him

is also bad, irrespective of Sani being Raja Yoga Karaka. This

could delay finances.

However, one good thing is that your 11th house, which is the

Labha Stana, is the strongest as per Bhava Bala, and gets a

score of 11.3, so money may not be a problem in the long term.

You will be running Sukra Bukti from end-May 2005 - Jun 2008.

Technically, Sukra is Lagnadipati and Sani is Raja Yoga Karaka,

so this should be good, but I have heard from the more learned

on this group that Sani Dasa - Sukra Bukti, and Sukra Dasa -

Sani Bukti are not usually good.

One has to consider that Sukra also rules the 8th, and is

conjunct Budha, lord of the 12th, and aspected by Guru, lord of

the 6th, and all these could play a limiting role.

As per Gochara, Sani (1), Guru (4),Ketu (4), and Rahu (10) are

all inimically placed. Guru's movement into the 5th in Sep 2005

could provide some respite.

This is a low score, but fortunately, Guru protects Janma

Nakshatra, Tithi, and Day, which is good. The only afflictions

are to Name from Kuja and Ketu, and to Lagna from Ketu, but even

here, Sukra is there to mitigate some of the ills.

Kuja is afflicting the Karma Nakshtra (10) and creating some

temporary work problems, and his aspect on the Adhana Nakshatra

(19) is also bad. Manas Nakstra (25) is affected by Surya and

Sukra, giving sorrow and happiness in equal measure. However,

the Abhishek Nakshtra (27) is aspected by Rahu and Ketu, denying

rise, and Budha cannot do much against the two.

Please pray to God, and may your troubles end soon.

Re : King23-Your Marriage Analysis-->Part 1/2

Om Krishna Guru

Namaste King,

Let me attempt to give my analysis using some of the Naadi based principles

first and then later on with some other different methods, which I am learning.

I have considered the following birth details for my analysis.

September 23, 1974

Time: 9:10:00

Time Zone: 5:30:00 (East of GMT)

Place: 79 E 33' 00", 11 N 17' 00"

Mannargudi, India

In this anlysis, I will try to describe your would be wife and whether your

marriage is arranged or love marriage, and also we will try to find whether the

native is from your own religion or not. I think those are the question you have

requested.

OK, let us get started.

In Rasi chart, the Patni Karaka Sukra is placed in Simha and this Sukra is

AtmaKaraka for this native. Patni karaka is in Simha rasi which is a Eastern

directional sign. Chandra is placed in Dhanus which is also Eastern directional

sign too.

Kuja and Surya are placed in Southern Directional Sign. Guru who is Vakra so he

is aspecting towards Chandra hence I he is aspecting the Makara Rasi which is

another Southern Directional Sign. Interestingly, you will notice, the Ketu is

also placed in another Southern Directional Sign too.

Now let us see who is Opposite to Sukra. Guru who is Vakra is in opposite to

Sukra and plaed in Western Directional Sign and Shani and Budha are also placed

in Western diretion too.

Next to Sukra (2nd) are Kuja and Surya are placed. Shani is a little bit far

(11th ) from Shukra, so this indicates to me that the would be wife will be fair

in color. Kuja is the Karaka for husband is placed in 2nd house to Shukra, so

this indicates to me that, she will be a loving wife to her husband.

Chandra is with Sukra in the Eastern direction and in between Budha and Rahu. So

this indicates to me that the native's spouse will be coming from Eastern

direction to meet her husband who is in Southern direction and she has to cross

to Surya. What it indicates to me is: a Fatherly / Guru kind of person will

bring the spouse to her. In other words the spouse will come from South Eastern

direction to the native.

This Patni Karaka Sukra is with Chandra in the Eastern direction and in between

Budha and Rahu are placed. So this indicates to me that the native's spouse is

knowledgable in preparing very good and tasty food, including even some foreign

receipies too.

Shukra is apecting Jup in 7th aspect and Guru is Vakra hence this indicates that

the wife will be a foreigner, polite, religious minded and pious with guiding

qualities, she will enjoy a respectable status and will be doing a job with some

amount of travel because of the Chandra in between. She may suffer due to

obesity.

Summary : Based on the above combinations and analysis, I am thinking you will

have a love marriage and your wife would be coming from a diffrent

culture/religion and also your marriage may take place in a foreign land too.

In my next message Part 2/2, I will go over some other methods to identify the

answers to your Marriage timing and re-confirm the above observations as well.

Having said that, I would request Gurus and learned members to correct me if I

am wrong in applying these principles.

Regards

Raghunatha Rao

Mark Kincaid

2-Vir Van...... regd. Jyotish remedies....> Mark Kincaid 5/3....

Hello Mark! Thanks for sharing with us your enthralling early days with

Jyotish & Ayurveda and also your fascinating thoughts on our life..So

according to you, our birthcharts not only tell us our miseries and

pitfalls but also ways to avoid them?!

Dear Vir Van:

So, very nice for you to say. It's always a little strange and delicate

talking about oneSelf!,

hehehe.

But, if there's anything I've learned through the study of Vedic Wisdom,

including Jyotish, it's the fact, that we're all One,...

and indeed,...the very same, Unbounded,....Higher Self....!

Therefore, one person's gain, or insights, and ...strengths, are really the

strengths of us all!

I can't tell you how often, I've learned of the strengths, of others,

especially my friends with Exalted Saturn's or strong Moon's....who gave

me,....

concrete, very real, to life, examples, of how those planets might be

positive!

Especially since those were not my strenghts....! heeh

Let's see back to your question....

You said:

So our birthcharts not only tell us our miseries and pitfalls but also ways

to avoid them?!

And Indian Jyotish I thought was fatalist..exact..accurate with no way of

escape for the native except shown by foot path soothsayers of yagnas and

pujas to make their two ends meet!

Anyway hallelujah

Well, I think this is one of my main points, that not only does, Astrology,

understand 'fate', and the very real, pre-conditionings, that we were born

with...but...

it also understands the areas of freedom, and opportunities, and ways in

which we can evolve,

and especially grow beyond our conditionings...and achieve, ... the real

purposes of our lives...

We were not born, to only suffer the consequences of our previous

actions...

We were also born, to rise up, over those negatives, and achieve, as much as

possible.

My private, experiences, in consciousness, especially through meditation,

have convinced me,

there's a Universe, more... out there,...

that also exists, inside,.....here...

And 'We are all, that!"

You also said:

I myself am the sufferer at the hands

of torturejyotishes who have now n then horrified me by showing

threatening 12th Shani-sadasati and evil-Rahu effects and have always

asked for remedies which would totall

One of my worst experiences in Jyotish, was also when I was in India, and I

had a so-called famous Jyotishee, tell me "you'll never have this and you'll

never have....'that'..."

Well, not only was that depressing, but now, as it turns, out, I have

achieved....some of those

things he said I wouldn't!

I also noticed in so many of the early writings, of the Eastern Astrology

books that were being written, way back then, in 1988, ....

were filled with so much negativity, and pessimism....

Fortunately, I was very lucky.

My 'path' included the gracious, warm, and optimistic qualities of a great

Guru, and teachers, who taught me about this great hopefulness, and

possibilities of human achievement,...

especially.... through the Vedic Wisdom...

As a result, I was able to weather, the somewhat depressing tone, of what I

now believe,

is the natural result, of getting....too overshadowed,...by that

fatalistic,...or pre-deterministic

side to life...

See, I'm not saying that the pre-conditionings don't exist....

But, somehow, so do the freedom, aspects....

And, though intellect may have a hard time understanding how both, fate &

freedom, could both exist...

It may still be the truth.

When I contemplate the Vedic vision of Reality, it's not one of prisons, of

limitations, and narrowness.

The Vedic Wisdom of life, is of literally, unbounded potentialities!

Within each one of us, exists, the home of all the laws of nature...

Deep within, there exists, at the very base and source of the mind, a

'Source of Thought', which is literally, that unbounded field of

consciousness!

When you learn to get in-touch, and have, even very real and concrete

experiences of 'THAT',

then, you come to understand this amazing quality of freedom and infinite

possibilitis...

Until I started having these deep, inward experiences, it's true, my life,

was more bound, and full of miseries....

but this is my point,...

Having the possibilities of inward expansion, growth, and of life's

possibilities... is not just an

exception, and possible for just saints and seers...

It's also possible for all of us...

It's in the Ved,...it's in all the Vedic Knowledgen... and especially in

Jyotish....

Perhaps in the future, we'll recognize this, and realize,...that Jyotish

REMEDIES..!,

is not only a great fascination, but is the most important part, of Jyotish.

For example, today, now, when I look at people's charts...

I'll only take a few moments to figure out which planets are acting

malefically!

And then, very quickly I can begin the process of recomendations,

prescriptions and Jyotish remedies, to literally strengthen those formerly,

functional malefics!

Fun talking with you!

So cant wait to follow your

discourses on the group about the remedial jyotish and enlighten myself

by your wisdom!!

Jay Gurudev

Your student..

Vir

Sincerely,

Mark Kincaid

pitfalls but also ways to avoid them?! And Indian Jyotish I thought was

fatalist..exact..accurate with no way of escape for the native except

shown by foothpath soothsayers of yagnas and pujas to make their two

ends meet! Anyway hallelujah as I myself am the sufferer at the hands

of torturejyotishes who have now n then horrified me by showing

threatening 12th Shani-sadasati and evil-Rahu effects and have always

asked for remedies which would totally favour them monetary wise then

personally me in anyway otherwise..;) So cant wait to follow your

discourses on the group about the remedial jyotish and enlighten myself

by your wisdom!!

Nature's Astrology

&

My Introduction....

Dear All New Subscribers:

I just realized today, over 120 new members have joined one or other of the

we have now, in the last 4 weeks.

I've been so busy, I haven't had a chance to really talk to you.

I think a kind of Introduction about myself might be in order.

I'm a former Meditation and Ayurved teacher, since 1973, in fact, that

recently, since, 1988, began my study of Jyotish, or Eastern, Vedic

Astrology.

I have to say, I used to think the be-all and end-all of 'things' would have

to be meditation.

And, don't get me wrong, I still love it, and recommend it, however, now

after all these years studying Jyotish/Astrology, I have to say, I'm

realizing that Jyotish, is even more profound.

Though probably, there's no real race!

hehe

As it turns out, all the other branches of Vedic Knowledge, whether

meditation, or Ayurved, or even yoga, can be seen in one of more of the

various 'Houses' in Jyotish.

So, they're all related.

In fact, in the Jyotish that I do, I readily acknowledge and apply the

particular insights and wisdoms of Ayurved, especially, to the remedial, and

recuperative side of Jyotish.

My Theory

of Astrology....

I have to say however, that my particular, brand, or practice of Astrology,

is inclusive of both Eastern & Western branches.

I started out studying Jyotish, in 1988, those many years ago, but perhaps

because of my strong history, or transformative,....experiences in

Meditation, I noticed fairly quickly that my

particular 'subjective' interpretations, seemed to veer, quite dramatically!

hehe

Now, I realize, again, probably due to my particular experiences in the

field of meditation, I couldn't just accept the normal belief in 'fate' and

pre-determinism.

When I first started studying Jyotish, I'd pick up any book on the subject,

and there would be about 195 pages on the Jyotish, or Understanding part of

Astrology.

For example, how, this feature works, and how this principle, and then, how

all of the various rules come together, to create a system that very

accurately describes the way we are!

Then, I noticed, way at the end, in the last 5 pages or so, a category of

'Remedial Measures'.

It was almost like an after thought, tucked in at the end, like that.

I thought, wow, that's interesting. Later I realized this emphasis on 98%

of the Understanding and only 2% on the remedial measures might not be the

effective.

So, I started putting research on this healing, or curative, or

transformative side to Jyotish/Astrology.

I discovered that there was this huge belief that growth, and actual,

positive change was very difficult if not down right, impossible in certain

areas.

Then, I remembered my meditation background.

I'd learned the Transcendental Meditation technique of Meditation. Some of

you may have heard about it! hehe

And, I remembered, that the founder of the T.M. program, the Maharishi

Mahesh Yogi, had already explained, that the entire field of Vedic Science

of Knowledge, was in a state of great, disrepair.

"The essence of Ved", he explained "has been forgotten, and only the

remnants of this ancient wisdom and civilization exists, today."

"Ved represents the supreme knowledge of life, how anyone can develop their

full, human, literally, infinite potential!"

But, this knowledge has been forgotten, at least the easy, effortless and

natural key to powerful, effective meditation, and as a result, the entire

field, is in difficulties."

I think about that now, when I try and explain my orientation to and

particular advancement, and development of my Jyotish.

I thought perhaps, something has been forgotten in Jyotish, as well. Later

I realized, it's this, vital, and important area of 'Jyotish

Transformation'....

Now, I realize, we only need to spend, 10 or 15% of our time, analyzing the

problem, and then, the whole rest of the time, we can figure out how to

literally, solve any problem, in life, by strengthening the functioning

'malefic' that's been causing that problem.

And, that, in a nutshell, is the essence of my Jyotish/Astrology.

Today, we're making history, by re-enlivening this most important aspect of

Jyotish, and also all aspects of Vedic Wisdom.

When I was in India, in 1988, I was attending a course on Ayurved, and I

heard, the Maharishi say:

"Don't' take your chart, like it's written in stone; it's just the state of

Physiology, at birth!"

I've thought a lot about this expression over the years, and I think it's

had a powerful effect on how my Jyotish has developed, and what I believe

in.

I don't see our chart's as 'fixed in stone'. I see them as being

representative of both our karmas, and our opportunities.

Pre-destiny or pre-determinism does exist, but so does hope, and

opportunity, and all possibilities!

Freedom & 'fate' they have always been the 2 irreconcilable, aspects of

Astrology.

In the West, it's just assumed that freedom is possible.

In the East, it's more often believed, not!

"In truth", the Maharishi has said: "both are true."

When I look at my life, and I look at the train of karma of my life, before

meditation, especially, all the darkest predictions that could have been

made of my chart, were true!

I had Moon & Saturn in my 12th house.

Moon was ruler of the 10th, only 1 house away from the Sun, in the 11th.

And Mars was debilitated in the 10th....

and a few other choice malefic situations!

But, I had a good Jupiter, and Sun.... so eventually, I stumbled into

meditation.

Then, something happened that I never expected....

I learned how to 'expand my consciousness'!!

For those of you who've not had any experiences like this, I can't even

begin to tell you what this is like!

For those who have had this experience, almost no explanation is necessary.

Let's just say, all previous concepts of mind, life, worries, and troubles,

and misfortunes,... were all, not UNDERSTOOD!!!!.

Then, when I learned to expand my mind!, wow, that changed my life....!

When you meditate, (which by the way, is both a great way of strengthening

both Jupiter & Saturn, inside),...I noticed immediately 'feeling better.

I was more relaxed, more calm, and the worries, anxieties, and even

depression, I had previously experienced, every day of my life,...started

miraculously, disappearing!

After a number of years of this, I was a changed man!

Then, after 10 or 15 years, I noticed that benefits seemed to smooth out.

I got used to the experience, and thought 'well, it might take me another 15

years, to become enlightened!'

The, I traveled to India, to attend that Ayurved course. At the very end,

they had these 5 days of Jyotish. That turned out to be everyone's favorite

part.

I got soo excited about studying Jyotish, that I came back to the states,

and now, 18 years later, here we are!

Voila!

Now, I understand that Jyotish has a powerful and very deep role in our

self-development and evolution.

Oh, sure, we could probably do it without Jyotish's special benefits, but

I'm sure glad I don't have to!

hehe

Now I understand, to give you just one idea: "The Malefics in our chart's

they're not just symbolic of our problems, challenges, illusions, delusions,

bad habits, and sufferings! No!, ... they're also symbolic of our literal,

opportunities, and areas of growth!"

In other words, the malefics represent those very planets, that if we could

learn to strengthen, we could literally, dissolve and obliterate those

problems.

This idea of remedial measures is already there, now, the understanding is

deepening, that, it's range of possibilities, knows no bounds.

If the mind, itself, could be lead, to the source of mind, deep inside, and

the field of infinite, energy, power, and intelligence,....literally

unfolded and lived in life; don't you think that might change our lives!

Then, add on top of that the possibility of literally, changeing our planets

through an act of Psychology, and you'll begin to understand what's

possible.

If Ayuyrved, represents the 'body' of Ved, in other words, Ayurved is like

shaking the self, through the body; Jyotish, is the 'mind' of Ved.

Jyotish, in fact, represents the Psychology of Vedic Knowledge, and includes

the complete range of development of mind, from it's normal, unused, paltry,

10 or 15% ,,...to literally, a complete, 100% development.

Jyotish is like an Advanced Technique.

We can stimulate and move ourselves, strengthening any and literally every

planet by coming to Understand, and unfold, the greater Wisdom, and then,

benefits of all the Planets!

Take Mars for example.

We may have a functioning malefic Mars. As a result, we have too many

accidents, and get irritable and cross too often, and fights and

disagreements.

So, we go to an Ayurvedic doctor and he feels our pulse and says: "Ahhh,

your pitta, is out of balance... Do this and that,....to bring your pitta

into balance..."

Then, you get the idea to go to a Jyotishee, and then, he starts looking at

you, through the mind. "Ahhhh, yes, I see, your Mars, is creating a lot of

mischief."

Now, normally, a few remedial measures might be recommended but no real

since that you could really change that planet much!

But, go to a new, Consciousness Jyotishee, and he might say, "ahhhh, yes,

you need to strengthen, or balance your Mars!"

"How do I do that?", you might say....

Then, a whole slew of prescriptions are given, including learning that your

Mars, is literally, a product of your thinkings, and thought patterns.

And, though it may now, be of a functioning, malefic Mars, it still has the

potential to be unraveled.

I believe, in fact, this is why we've come to this Earth.

Not to just experience these karmic repercussions, but literally, to learn

how to prevent their future, negative 'births'.

Once I understood that I had created this chart, previously, I realized,...

I can change it!

And each step we take towards, embracing our Astrology, and learning how to

change and transform, all our malefics into strengths, then, we'll be living

a truely, new and powerful, complete, Vedic Astrology.

Vedic is for Enlightenment, and Vedic Astrology can have a great role at the

unfoldment of that great, treasure, of human possibility!

Take care

And look forward to ever growing Wisdom of Jyotish, with you all!

We're on a great, roll!

Sincerely,

Mark Kincaid

Re: kindly look into my chart using kas

Hi Pankaj

Well I tried using KAS on your chart. I am unable to verify your

current job? Also i am still understanding past event dates.... Is

the birth time correct, since it does not synchnronize with the

developments in real life.

Thanks

Rajesh.

Dear Jyotish Remedies Listmembers,

My name is Martin. I was a silent participant of the list for now. Due to my

academic and business responsibilities I could not actively involve myself

in this very informative list. Now I think is the time to remedy this.

I was wondering about two issues intimately related to my spiritual

exertions (Sadhana).

My first question is, How does one know which types of sadhana one can

succeed in based on his/her horoscope? And related to it, what type of a

mantra practice will prove fruitful to one's spiritual development based on

a horoscope?

Second question of mine is, Eclipse times are generally considered times to

meditate and/or conduct rituals by some traditions. Why is it?

Thanks for reading it thus far and double-thanks if you take a shot at them,

Martin.

~~Tarun~~

sun in 7th... are the following upto mark

Dear Learned Group members,

I wish to ask that this thing abt sun in seventh...do it really works as the

shastra says....or these are the chances only.....as i have seen a few horo with

the same sun in 7th but not such too bad things were happening in there lives..

i am attaching a few sayings of the books .--

kindly provide your comments.

The Sun in the Seventh House

Sutras 69-74-If the Sun is in the seventh house the marriage of the native will

take place late (that is, long after the marriageable age). He will not respect

the opposite sex. He will indulge in sexual relations with women other than his

wife. He will have more than one wife. In his 25th year he will travel to a

place far away from his native land. He will be witty and fond of non-vegetarian

food. He will not have fair dealings with his wife. He will be of unstable mind.

If the Sun is posited in his own sign Leo, the native will live with only one

wife. If the Sun is associated with an enemy or debilitated planet, or if he is

associated with or aspected by a malefic, the native will have a number of wives

(or will have sexual contacts with many women.)

Comments-It is clear from what is stated above that the placement of the Sun in

the 7th house is not at all favourable for marital relations except when he is

in own sign Leo. The marriage of the native will be delayed probably because of

his incapability to settle down with one woman. Further being a malefic planet

he will spoil the normal significations of the 7th house. The Sun is a hot

planet. He also signifies vitality and virility. The native will therefore be

abnormally passionate and will run after more than one woman to satisfy his

carnal desires. This vice will be further accentuated when there are malefic

influences on the Sun as described in Sutras 73 and 74. Sutra 70 says that the

native will go away to a far off place if the Sun is in the seventh in his

horoscope. We remember of one case about the correctness of this statement which

was reported in one of the issues of Prof B.V. Raman's Astrological magazine. We

would advise the readers to verify this by practical

experience.

Other Views

Brihat Jatak-The person concerned should suffer humiliation at the hands of

women.

Phaldeepika-Some part of the body of the native will be afflicted. The native

will act against the interests of the Govt. He will wander aimlessly and get

humiliated. The native will be devoid of happiness from wife.

Saravali-The native will be without lustre on his face, he will get humiliated

in public, he will suffer from diseases and will do deeds which may lead him

into prison. He will be immoral and will have no respect for women.

Chamatkar Chintamani-The wife of the native will suffer. The body of the native

will be afflicted. He will always be worrying. He will suffer loss in business.

Because of his jealous nature he will never get proper sleep.

Note-It is clear from the above views that if the Sun is in the 7th house, the

native will be immoral in all sorts of ways. Because of his immoral nature, he

will get involved in affairs which will lead to his humiliation by women. For

the same reason his marital life will not be happy. He will not be patriotic and

will act against the king or Government. For this reason he may have to wander

here and there. As far as the immorality of the native is concerned the views

expressed in Bhrigu Sutras are supported by the authorities mentioned above.

My question is are the above description applicable even when sun is exalted in

7th.

and if the above words in the books are true then are they gonna effect only

when transit or in dasha or bhulti itslef.

thanks and regards/

Tarun...

Re: Re: kindly look into my chart using kas

Hi Rajesh,

Yes the birth time is correct for sure. Are the events good or bad in difference

to my chart and real life. Earlier I was wearing a yellow saphire then for

sometime I weared for some time red coral...and now I am only wearing pearl in a

silver ring. If my feeling is wright then all the major developments in my life

are after I started exercising fast on saturday and praying shani/hanumanji on

regular basis. May be b'coz of it the results vary.

Kindly share with me your views on it and let me know wat all information you

need from me.

I'll be pleased to furnish any additional information you may require in this

regard.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Pankaj

Well I tried using KAS on your chart. I am unable to verify your

the birth time correct, since it does not synchnronize with the

developments in real life.

Thanks

Rajesh.

Jyotish Article...on ....".The Moon.....",... It's Nature,

full-potential and How to Strengthen!....> MKincaid 5/3

The Moon!

Article...

Dear Friends:

I was inspired by how much people liked the other article I wrote on Saturn,

that I thought I should write about all the planets, too.

This one's about the Moon.

Like Saturn, the Moon has it's positive and negative sides.

The Moon, originally, coming from the Latin, 'Lunar' means, we get the word:

"Lunacy",

or insanity.

Obviously that's the 'dark' side of the Moon's force.

And, those that have delicate, or malefically aggravated Moon's can

experience all manners of everything from emotional problems, to phobias,

anxieties, worries, and depression.

But, the Moon, itself, is called the Planet of the Mind.

And, the Mind, includes all possibilities, from insanity, to enlightenment.

We, obviously want to culture and develop our Moon's, so that we grow in

term's of our

Mind-Moon.

Let's first talk about the highest value of the mind, and from wherever you

experience, your Moon, you can then aspire for 'more'.

The natural vision of the highest value of the Moon is contained both in

it's size, and it's Quality.

Moon is supposed to be the 'best' that is both Exalted, and/or Full!

In fact there are many positive descriptions for a person, if they have that

'auspicious' Waxing Moon, in their charts or Exalted, or in it's Own Sign.

Moon, however, is slightly more complicated, because the Moon in it's

various Signs, isn't necessarily 'wrong' or undeveloped if in Aries, or

Gemini, but just different.

I believe the best, 'judge' of the various levels of strength of Moon and

Mind, is the size of the Moon.

The bigger the Moon, the stronger, is one's emotional or mental nature.

People with 'good' Moon's have an evenness about them, stronger, feeling

nature's and handle all aspects of life, including stress, better.

But, there's been something missing in the normal depictions of the Moon, in

all it's various stages.

The Moon, when it's not big, or when it's Waning, and small, or in the

getting smaller, mode, is more about the 'starting point' of the Mind, Moon.

Therefore no matter where your Moon is starting, now, that you were born to

strengthen, and develop, your Moon/Mind!

Moon represesents Happiness, and also fulfillment.

The Moon as it's getting bigger and bigger, expresses more and more,

brightness of the Sun, upon us, and like that, the bigger someone's Moon,

is, the more pure inner, 'light' of Being, or Consciousness, is able to

light, into our Heart's and Mind's.

The Moon, itself, is like a big clock, churning, bigger and bigger, then,

smaller and smaller.

It's movements, always, churning, getting fuller, and then, more and more

empty, represent's not only the state and stage of development of our

Moon's; but,.... this cycle of the Moon,

also represent's the path of emotional growth and development.

I've discovered, that the cycle, itself, is a kind of big, powerful, cycle

of 'Rest & Activity'.

Like the daily cycle, going to bed, early, one gains better rest, and as a

result, more success during the next day.

If one learns how to follow this naturally, cyclical, flow, of the Moon,

being more and more restful, inward, and rejuvenative, during the Waning

part, then, the Waxing cycle, will be more and more lively, and successful.

If you want to enjoy more success inside, and or, outside, then, 'do', more

during the Waxing part.

You'll generally, find yourself, with more energy, and dynamism, as the

light upon the Moon is brighter and brighter.

You'll also find that you need less rest during this cycle and outwardness

is natural, and very purposeful.

But, the minute the Moon starts to 'Wane' see, if you notice, next time,

that there's an immediate, inwardness, or settling down, goings on.

After watching the Moon for awhile, since 1988, I began to 'feel' that flow

inside of me.

As the Moon's getting bigger and bigger, I noticed, 'I', including my body,

but even, emotionally, I felt better and better, with more energy, and

dynamism.

But, the minute, the Moon started to Wane, I noticed an immediate, 'falling

off' type of experience, and then, eventually, I realized,..it meant

something.

That shift, in Physiology, and Mind, seemed to correspond with more and more

'inwardness', of the body.

I noticed more and more that 'I', or the body, wanted to hibernate, curl up,

lie down, take a nap, be more inward...and get more rest.

Then, I realized, the time's when I felt the most chaos, were one's in which

I was not being in-tune, with these 2 cycles.

Especially, the inward part, if I tried to be busy, or had to, I noticed a

very strong, and sometimes, subtle quality of strain going on.

I also noticed that people seemed to suffer the most, emotionally, when the

Moon, itself, was Waning.

Originally, I thought this was just the nature of the Moon, as in many

Astrological descriptions.

Now, I realize, however, that it's more because we're straining, and not

allowing that this is the natural purpose and priority of the Moon, and our

Physiology.

Women, know the Moon cycle already. Did you know that women's 'cycle' is a

lunar cycle?

Many people, have their cycles, during the Waning part, and often, literally

around the New Moon.

However, often when their cycles are out of whack and or especially rough

and exhausting, it turns out their cycles, are not in-tune with that more

healing, restful time, but come during the Waxing or 'bigger' Moon, parts.

After a while, I realized one of the greatest things people should know

would be how to live their live's more and more in-tune with those Moon

cycles.

Most successful people in business, already recognize that business, itself,

goes through cycles.

There are of course, busy cycles, and then there are time's when the need

arises, to pause, to collect oneself, maybe get re-organized, or catch up

with previous paperwork, that got neglected during the 'hay day' of the more

active cycles.

What I've discovered, however, is whenever I allow myself, to be more and

more in-tune with those 2 primary aspects of the Moon, I find myself being

the most successful.

Saturn has taught us about the need to rest more, and to heal and

rejuvenate, recuperate, and renew; during the appropriate times.

Daily Rest...and now we're hearing about the Monthly rest cycle.

Ayurved teaches, a lot about how to be more in-tune with all the 'rest'

cycles.

There's that daily cycle, and going to bed, early enough, that we get

completely refreshed, and prepared, for more easy, smooth, and dynamic

activity of the next day.

Then, there's the monthly cycle, which is predominately a Lunar cycle.

Watch the Moon for a couple of Months.

See, if you notice a clear, difference within, between the Waxing & Waning

Moon, cycles.

You'll notice most of the time, feeling more inward during the Waning part's

and more outward, and dynamic, during the Waning parts.

Allow yourself, to be 'that' in-tune with those 2 chapters, or cycles.

As, I have, I've noticed a complete strengthening, of my own, emotional

side, or self.

As you pay more attention to those cycles, you'll find yourself, feeling

more centered, and natural, and prepared.

When you rest more, then you'll pick up less stress, and as you're picking

up less stress; especially emotional stress, then, your very Moon, inside,

will shine more brightly!

Another thing I've noticed about our chart's and our Moon's, is the exact

details of our Moon's shows us the particular lessons, that are not only

good for our Moon's but also more appropriate, for ourselves.

I'll give you some examples.

I have my Moon in the 12th, which is also there along with Saturn.

My Moon is also only 1 house away from my Sun which is in the 11th house.

In other words, the Moon is in the negative 12th house, and #2, with a

fairly negative or malefically functioning Saturn, and #3, is very small.

All of these qualities, seemed to correspond quite neatly to all my

emotional shyness, growing up.

I was very insecure. Now I understand it was emotional.

I would always get my feelings 'hurt' very easily, and even experienced much

worrying, anxieties, phobias, and even depression...

Whew!

Exhausting even reviewing that!

hehe

But, the minute I learned how to meditate, in college, immediately I started

feeling better.

Way back then, in 1970, I knew very little about Astrology, but I knew I

surely needed something.

Each day, month, and then year, that slipped by, I noticed I felt more and

more calm, settled, , and emotionally happy!

I knew I was finally doing something right.

But, because of my extreme weakness of the Moon, I still felt a lot of

weakness there, even after a number of years.

Then, in 1988, I discovered Jyotish, and I discovered a very real,

connection between all the Malefics in my chart, and all the still,

frustrations, and unhappinesses, in my life.

Then, I started studying the Moon.

I read about what it was supposed to be like, in both 'size' and by 'sign',

and I felt some kind of growing, value, there inside, emotionally.

In addition to being more in-tune with the various Waxings and Wanings of

the Moon, the Moon inside us, and our charts; also teaches us about where

and how we're supposed to put more attention.

The Moon, according to Jyotish, expresses where our 'Conscious Mind's' are

meant to focus in this life.

The Sun may be about our Soul's life, and purpose, but our Moon's are where

our Moon's are meant to focus.

For someone with the Moon, in the 4th, the arena of the home, and family are

most important.

For those with the Moon, in the 5th, Education is primary.

For those with the Moon, in the 6th, health, and healing are more vital.

With each house's nature comes each, area of life's focus.

For me, the one good thing about the Moon being in my 12th, is the positive

side of the 12th, was that I had a strong, thirst, to know what was the

ultimate, purpose of life?

This is by the way, one of the natural symbolisms of the 12th house, is the

positive values of the 'Transcendental Reality'....

I had a hunger and a thirst, to want to know about God, and the Ultimate

reality.

So, that was the good thing.

The bad part was my Moon, there, exhibited all the classic malefic aspects

of 'loss', and 'over expenditures'.

Now, I realize over expenditures, mean's financial expenditures, but also

over expenditures, emotionally!

As I learned these things, and especially watched the Moon, and strove to be

more in-tune with the Moon's nature, and cycles, I found myself, living, a

much more fulfilling and satisfying emotional life.

Then, when I started to understand the inherent symbolism, especially, of

the negative sides of the 12th house, and especially that quality of

over-expenditures, then I started to experience, being again, more happy,

within.

What finally made a huge difference for me, was when I realized that I was

supposed to gain, more inner balance, of money, or savings, related to the

12th house, and when I learned this, and actually had some money put away, I

noticed a direct, powerful effect on my heart, feelings, or Moon.

So, develop the strength of your Moon.

Figure out the specific functionally malefic message or symbolism that's

there in your Charts.

The malefics in our chart's are not just symbolic of our problems, lessons

and griefs!

These same malefics are also symbolic of the very things we need to do, and

learn, to literally, strengthen, and improve the very functionings of those,

'so-called' malefics.

When you then, learn to take even a few short steps, into these

developments, you'll know you're progressing in the right direction,....

because the very real, and frustrating consequences of those malefics will

begin to diminish.

If it's the Moon, as that improves, you'll notice feeling better

emotionally.

You'll feel more even, and happy, as a result!

Anxieties, and worries will become less.

You'll find yourself, listening more to your inward, intuition, and your

sense of automatic, non-linear, knowingness or intuition, will be stronger.

You'll also feel much more centered, and purposeful, just because the Moon

is a very important and vital part of our lives' as well as it is a part of

our Jyotish charts.

Other prescriptions, and suggestions for strengthening the Moon, include:

o Pay more attention to what you feel

o As you recognize what you're needing, emotionally, give that to

yourself.

o If you're tired, feel it, and then, rest.

o If you're worried, or anxious, then rest.

o If you are upset, or overshadowed, by things and events, pay more

attention to how you feel,

strengthen that Moon, and see, if the worrying doesn't diminish.

Other remedies include:

o "Don't worry, be happy."

o Allow yourself to enjoy, more.

o Nourish yourself, more.

o Give to yourself, emotionally, more.

o Have more fun!

Entertainment and fun, vacations, are very healthy especially for our

Moon's!

We live in a society and a time, when Intellect, and masculine 'Sun' values

dominate.

The whole world-wide, 'women's movement' is really a movement, to re-claim

the importance of the Moon!

When the world, admired and respected 'women', and 'Mother's' more, then the

Moon was stronger!

Moon represent's the female side of life.

It represents 'emotions', it represent's 'feminine'.

It also represents nourishing, compassion, and careing.

If your Moon, is found lacking in any of these qualities...

#1 Take yourself, and your Moon, to deeper levels of bliss and inner

awareness.

That experience, alone will have the potential of strengthening your Moon!

#2 Then, find the particular insight that your chart, and Moon are about.

If your Moon's in Aries, notice that you have a very real tendency to rush,

and be active.

This is very Ariesish of you, however, be sure that you're doing enough for

the quality, and inner happiness of the Moon, as well.

Oh, yes, I forgot to add....

#1 Find the size of your Moon.

If it's not Full, whether, very small, just beginning to Wax, as in my case,

or anywhere between, almost nil, and Full, then, put more attention on

increasing it's size.

If the Moon's in the Waning motion, then recognize, you were really born, to

put more attention, and pursue, the deeply fascinating, and yet, unique

qualities of developing that precious, 'inwardness' of the Moon/Mind.

#3 Once, you find the particular lesson and symbolism of your Moon,

then, do whatever is needed to bring more peace, and eliminate any malefic

influences.

Moon with each Different

Malefic, situation...

Some people have their Moon's with difficult planets like my Saturn.

In my case, it was not only important that I learn to strengthen the size of

my Moon,

but I also had to learn how to 'balance' my Saturn.

When I hadn't then, my Moon, was a regular barometer, of the Moon's great

miseries, and imbalances.

If someone's got their Moon with their Sun's, this represents the New Moon,

and the absolute importance of strengthening the size of the Moon.

However the Sun, with the Moon, also has another unique characteristic, and

that is, the Sun represents will, and 'self' so selfish, is one of the Sun's

less then positive aspects.

When the Moon is then, there, with the Sun, typically, people's past

selfish, or ego-centric, efforts and activities, have actually interfered,

and even, hurt, their own, emotional sides.

Part of the lesson, here, then, is to put more attention on your feelings,

to give more to yourself, emotionally, and follow your intuition, more and

more.

If someone's got their Moon, with a malefic functioning, Mars, then, the

quality of pitta, of anger, of bossiness, of fighting, have literally

invaded the natural quality and subtle, wonderful qualities of the Moon.

In some of these cases, it's not really the Moon that's acting malefically,

but the Moon, is a natural reflection of, and in this case, Marish, too

harsh quality.

In this example, then Mars needs to be controlled, diminished, and issues

such as anger, resentment, and especially, blameing others, needs to be

mastered.

In future articles we'll talk about how to balance the Mars, Sun, Rahu&Ketu,

to name the normal planets that act the most malefically.

I'll end with one more final malefic influence.

Let's say someone's Moon is with Rahu, which almost always is found acting,

bizarrely.

The way to tell, in fact if Rahu is acting malefically, is to see, if it's

negative consequences are dominating, and in this case, dominating, in the

very Moon, or your emotional life.

People with these kind's of negative Rahu's will have experiences, of

obsessions, compulsions, and even addictions.

Because Rahu represent's these negative's then, when Rahu is close to the

Moon, these negative tendencies, or patterns, even bad habits, will affect

one's emotions.

Part of the solution for this is to learn how to balance, Rahu.

Again, we'll talk more in a separate article about Rahu, but for right now,

let me just say, the extent to which your stive, to eliminate the very

quality of 'obsession's' or 'fame', or 'addiction's, then, Rahu will begin

easing up it's negative 'grip' upon the Moon.

More, later.

So, here we have it.

The Moon represent the mind, heart, and feelings.

The Moon therefore represent's happiness, satisfaction, and inner joy and

bliss.

The Moon, also, is the primary planet of fulfillment and contentment.

Therefore, identify your present level of inner happiness, and if you're not

experiencing all the happiness, that you would like;

then, consider strengthening your Moon!

Re: kindly look into my chart using kas

Hi Pankaj

Well I never knew that all these stones can change the events...only

you know better..well in that case, here's a slightly different

question(please verify):

Relationship with mother and father during different time periods

(9th house and 4th house)of life:

1. Current since 9th August2004: Should be excellent with both

mother and father(???)

2. Rahu/Saturn from Sep1991 to July 1994:Not very strong compared to

present time and had some tensions(???)

3. Rahu/Venus from Feb1998 to Feb2001 (Tensions in

relationshsips ???)

Well also give dates of wearing and removing stones..also for which

planets you were wearing them and what were the actual effects

(positive/negative financially)...its an experimental thing to

relate real life events to stone effects(you are the judge

here)...only then i will try to see what should have been the

natural effects astrologically and what were actual effects as

mentioned by you. please provide details...this is like a mini-

research project now!...thanks..Rajesh.

feeling is wright then all the major developments in my life are

after I started exercising fast on saturday and praying

shani/hanumanji on regular basis. May be b'coz of it the results

vary.

Re: Re: kindly look into my chart using kas

Hi Rajesh,

Thanks for your time. Well my relations with my parents are and was always good.

I am thankfull to god for such parents and brother. I do have fights at home but

that are part of life and nothing noticable as tension. Though things are very

good at present.

Well to tell you more about my life, I have only loved/respected 5 persons in

life... those are ...

1. my father

2. my mother

3. my brother

4. my grandfather (late)

5. My Dog (late)

Just because i luv/care for them respect comes naturally for others associated

with them.

My father was seriously ill during the period 1993-1995 and at times we were

told there's very little chance of him surviving during that period. That was

the thing which I can recall as tension period. After that my relationship with

my family/relatives were not good between november 2003 to november 2004 as i

was very tensed during that period about my career.

In education i was not a studious kind of person and i have always scored 55+-3%

marks while in school and in college as well. I have never regretted my results

keeping in mind the efforts i've put on my studies. Even my parents never

pressured on me to do better or try something different may be because i was

doing things quit ok on my self.

Well about the stones i was wearing yellow saphire from 1993 to march 2004.

after that i weared red coral from march 2004-november 2004. now i am wearing

pearl since oct 2004. I have always kept my faith in god and prayers are part of

my life since feb/march 2000.

one thing that many astrolgers dont accept in my case is I'm still a virgin by

choice. I've got opportunities though ;-)

the real bad periods as per me in my life are from aug 2000 - jan 2002 and nov

2003-nov 2004.

Hope this will help you in corelating events.

regards,

Hi Pankaj

Well I never knew that all these stones can change the events...only

you know better..well in that case, here's a slightly different

question(please verify):

(positive/negative financially)...its an experimental thing to

relate real life events to stone effects(you are the judge

here)...only then i will try to see what should have been the

natural effects astrologically and what were actual effects as

mentioned by you. please provide details...this is like a mini-

research project now!...thanks..Rajesh.

in difference to my chart and real life. Earlier I was wearing a

yellow saphire then for sometime I weared for some time red

coral...and now I am only wearing pearl in a silver ring. If my

feeling is wright then all the major developments in my life are

after I started exercising fast on saturday and praying

shani/hanumanji on regular basis. May be b'coz of it the results

vary.

Re:Jyotish Article...on ....".The Moon.....",... It's Nature,

full-potential

Jai Jinendra Mark,

Very inspiring and magnificent article on Moon, as

usual.

If any disease arised from Moon afliction,What

remedial measures should be taken to heal that, within

ourselves.

Some addition to your article,

As Moon is everchanging and is charged by Sun and its

reflection is manifested in a form of

feelings,emotions and desire.

Positively it talks about sympathy, while negative

effect is moodiness. It deals with individuals

past, present and future,as future is arised from

past.As result of it ,it signifies existense of word

"US" or "WE" or "I", as it binds a body with soul and

individual gains a personal experience out of it and

constantly deceving or decting us from reality.

As emotions are always been hazardous for us,for

steering, guiding etc at a conscious level for

adaption to the unconsciously perceived and

illuminated reality for one's benefit or well-being or

selfishness.

If well-placed , a person is

well-mannerd,carefree,fearfulness of wrong,focus on

present love of honest, peace loving etc etc.

If malefic than, makes one

drunker,liar,idleness,lonely,lack of

spirit,careless,lack of future thoughts,beggar etc

etc.

As it determines sensitivity,so karaka ro sifnificator

of Mother,nuture,Women,Dream Interpreters,Magician

etc etc.

Re:Jyotish Article...on ....".The Moon.....",... It's Nature,

full-potential

Jai Jinendra Mark,

Very inspiring and magnificent article on Moon, as

usual.

If any disease arised from Moon afliction,What

remedial measures should be taken to heal that, within

ourselves.

Some addition to your article,

As Moon is everchanging and is charged by Sun and its

reflection is manifested in a form of

feelings,emotions and desire.

Positively it talks about sympathy, while negative

effect is moodiness. It deals with individuals

past, present and future,as future is arised from

past.As result of it ,it signifies existense of word

"US" or "WE" or "I", as it binds a body with soul and

individual gains a personal experience out of it and

constantly deceving or decting us from reality.

As emotions are always been hazardous for us,for

steering, guiding etc at a conscious level for

adaption to the unconsciously perceived and

illuminated reality for one's benefit or well-being or

selfishness.

If well-placed , a person is

well-mannerd,carefree,fearfulness of wrong,focus on

present love of honest, peace loving etc etc.

If malefic than, makes one

drunker,liar,idleness,lonely,lack of

spirit,careless,lack of future thoughts,beggar etc

etc.

As it determines sensitivity,so karaka ro sifnificator

of Mother,nuture,Women,Dream Interpreters,Magician

etc etc.

Jyotish Article on # Saturn #

.....karma,materialistic,morals,truth,justice,tradition etc...

Jai Jinendra All,

As Mark wrote an article on Moon and Saturn,I got

inspired from that and thought came to my mind, why not

add more thought on Saturn too.

Saturn symbolises a burden of matter or materialism on

Soul, it reflects one's manifested materialism and

action 's performed by an individual to an inner

soul, which is very well evaluated by a Soul what to

tak in and what to leave out.

It is a significator of Death, sickness through Time.It

creates a physical or materialistic awarness of one's

Soul existence.

As it restricts Marishness and Jupiter's wisdom,it is

one of a strongest malefics of all.

When positively placed, shows discipline in

action,karma,but negatively it shows forcible

subjugation or restrictions.

It gives awarness of seperation from

materialism,ego,attachments,desire for

selfishness,emotional inhibition and learning through

very hard experience.

It symbolises Karma,Justice,Truth(Not materialistic or

court cases,But to unbound ourselves from worldly

pleasures and

pain),cold,conservative,material-mind,negative,moral,narrow-mind,

death,slowness etc etc.

Individuals with well palced Saturn gives

auterity,control over kama,great imagination,patience

in action,seriousness,non-argumentive,concern approach

towards acquiring wealth, hard work, depth of knowledge.

Negative effects of Saturn are disapproval of

women;disappointment,ignorance,restriction,materialism,misery,

secretly lying,murmuring,jealous,eny,suspicious etc

etc.

Love is the beauty of the soul

Re: Appopriate Sadhana/Mantra and Eclipses.

I have asked many a astrologer on this and they6 have not been able to give me

an exact reply. Can somebody from the group using KAS tell me also how to find a

sadhana which will suit me and be successfully done?

Martin.
