Hello!

Though mine and my husband's horoscopes were analysed, (for which I am

thankful), I posted a few times requesting my daughters' horoscopes to be read.

For some reason I did not get any response. Experts in this forum, please

clarify this question of mine. I tried having my daughters' horoscopes drafted.

Each time I was given a different nakshatram. This happened to my horoscope

also. So, I am wondering if the panchangam used by astrologers in India is

different in each region. I was born in Chennai, India and my daughters were

born in the U.S. There is always a conflict about how to use the birth time. The

astrologers in Chennai have always wondered if they have to convert the U.S.

birth time to India time or use the U.S. birth time as is. In my family they

used something called Pambu panchangam.

I like to know what is the standard practice in Vedic astrology. When a birth

time is given especially for someone born outside India, how is the horoscope

drafted/ How are the calculations made?

Thank you.

Mugi RR
