Before I answer your query, a few general points.

 

You have Makara Lagna, and Lagnadipati is in the 7th, aspecting

his own house, which is good. The lord of the 5th, Sukra, is

Uccha, and so is Surya. Chandra is also Uccha in Navamsa.

 

Your 5th house has the highest Bhava Bala of 9.7 rupas, and this

endows you with a considerable amount of luck, especially since

the 5th is the 9th from the 9th.

 

However, one wonders if this sort of luck is capable of saving

you all the time. Right now, it looks just a trifle bad.

 

For one thing, you are running Sani Dasa - Guru Bukti - Guru

Antar [Mar 2005 - Jul 2005]. Sani, as Lagnadipati, is good for

you, but Guru rules the 3rd and the 12th, both of which are evil

houses. The 12th is especially problematic because it is the

house of losses.

 

Additionally, as per the Gochara of the major planets, Rahu (6)

alone is good, while Guru (12), Sani (9) and Ketu (12) are all

badly positioned.

 

However, please also note that I'm only an amateur, and just

because I say it, it need not be correct. We also have to look

at the other factors. For instance:

 

* Guru is the only graha in your chart whose Kashta Phala, at

27.6, is greater than his Ishta Phala, at 26.4. So, he will

create some trouble, but since the difference is miniscule, the

problem is bound to be very minor. Maybe, Guru's idea of

troubling you is to give you the feeling that you will not get

your funding, instead of actually denying it to you!

 

* While looking at the Dasa/Bukti/Antar, one should also

consider the Shad Bala power of the grahas. Bukti Natha/Antar

Natha Guru's power of 1.18 is lower than Dasa Natha Sani's power

of 1.49, so your Lagnadipathi may still protect you from harm

and loss.

 

* Guru, though a malefic for Makara Lagna, is generally a subha

graha, and since he has a Shadvarga Vimshopak of 13.5, which is

average, he might not afflict you badly.

 

So, a clear case of 50:50! Pray to God, and may He ensure that

you get your funding!

Nakshatra (23), with mixed blessings. Uday Nakshatra (18) and

Manas Nakshtra (25) are aspected by both Budha and Guru, giving

some peace and possibility of growth, but Ketu's affliction of

such that if I do not get my funding I will have to pack bags...

 

So basically funding is essential..
