Dear Anu:

 

For most, Rahu does have malefic qualities but that's because in this age

balance and inner

awakening is not enough.

 

Living in a more predominantly materialistic age, means things like desire,

and fame,

are winning out over spirit and as a result, Rahu's malefic side dominates.

 

One experience I've had that I might contribute is when you realize exactly

'when' Rahu is malefic; then I realized the opposite value is to learn how

to have desires, without those

same desires overwhelming ourselves.

 

As my own experience of inner awareness has developed I'm finding that the

natural desires and inclinations don't overshadow and in fact are just a

small part of life.

 

Rahu teaches us about the importance of developing the inner along with the

outer.

 

If we don't learn this, then simple, even, natural desires can consume us,

overshadowing and

lead us to obsessions, compulsions and addictions.

To Chandra/ Mark,

 

My experience with Rahu till now -

Currently I am having Rahu mahadasha and Rahu ardasha, My Rahu (4.5') is in

Leo Ascendent(5.35') with conjuction with Mars( 4.4') / Jupiter( 8') .

Saturn is also in Leo ascendent ( 29.30').

Mer.(13.5') is aspecting Rahu from sevent House( Aquarious). Sun is in eight

house.Moon and Venus is in aries

 

- It doesn't satify person.

- It gives lot of tension and anxiety.I tried to control the anxiety but I

couldn't. I know it can be controlled if I do any meditation or atleast do

any physical exercise daily.

- It has raised the confidence and has made me famous. ( in my company)

 

Now it is ending and I am starting with rahu and Jupiter. This combination

will give better results.
