Pantheism is not new age, though some new age folks are pantheists.

In fact classical pantheism is very old.

I don't know whether Jesus Christ was pantheist, the stories of the

bible don't seem to point in that direction. The church, and its

code of doctrines, is definitely not pantheist, in fact they

consider pantheists as pagans, and try to convert them to the "one

true path" to God, which of course is the path certified by the

church. The church is therefore monotheist (hence exclusivist, i.e.

believes that there is only one God, *their* God, every other God is

non-valid), and like all groups trying to propagate exclusivist

ideas, it is a political organisation.
