Namaste Bharat,

 

Let me attempt to give an answer by casting a Prashna Chart about your wife's

missing cloths/dress. I have used the following Prashna Chart.

 

March 21, 2005

Time: 21:24:09

Time Zone: 6:00:00 (West of GMT)

Place: 93 W 20' 59", 44 N 53' 23"

USA

 

Prashna Lagna is Li and its lord Ven is placed in 6th house with 9th and 12th

lord Merc(Vakra) and also with the 11th lord Sun. Jup (Vakra) is the 3rd and 6th

lord is placed in 12th house of losses and in Parivartana with 12th lord Merc.

Hence Lagna Lord Ven and 11th lord Sun are with Jup now.

 

First of all this is a category of misplaced items and not the lost/theft as

Prashna Lagna is in Pakshi Drekkana, indicating the items misplaced are cloths.

Also you will notice that the planet Rahu is aspecting the Prashna lagna

indicating that the cloths are flimsy. You can also see the details such as the

the planet who is aspecting the Prashna Lagna is only Rahu,who is placed in

Eastern Direction and aspecting the Prashna Lagna which is western direction, so

the cloths are misplaced when they are traveling from East to West direction. We

can also go into the details such as the color of the cloths misplaced etc., but

I will not go into that now and let us focus on the question in hand first.

 

So, now let us the sambandha principles: Prashna Lagna lord Venus and also the

Karaka for cloths is placed in 6th house with 9th and 12th lord Merc (Retro) and

also with 11th lord Sun. 2nd and 6th lord Jup is placed in 12th house and who

is Retro too. But there is a parivartana between Merc and Jup so Jup is back to

his own house with the Prshan Lagna lord and aspcting 2nd and 12th house and

12th lord Merc. This is indicating me that the misplaced cloths will be found

and returned to the native very very soon.

My wife lost couple of her dress suits in post and asked me a question if she

will find them.

 

Following are the details for Prasna i casted

 

Natal Chart

 

March 21, 2005

Time: 19:06:39

Time Zone: 7:00:00 (West of GMT)

Place: 114 W 05' 00", 51 N 05' 00"

Calgary, Canada

 

I am following Prasna Tantra by B V Raman, the rules state

 

1. If 4th lord is in lagna we can predict the event will be positive.

2. Also if there is exchange between 1st and 7th house lord the event will be

positive.

 

Based on these 2 rules i felt like predicting that she will be able to FIND her

lost dress.

 

However further looking at planets, though 4th lord is in lagna but it is

retrograde and though there is parivartana between 1 and 7th lord, the 1st lord

is debilitated and 7th lord again retrograde and hence opposite ( retrograde )

can be expected.

 

Please help me understand the role of retrograde and debilitated

planets in the prasna chart.
