panguni - uttiram &

hi im new 2 this group & i find the forum really interesting in terms of not

jus astrological exchanges but also in explanations to many aspects of our

religion & culture.

i recently came across a vratam called kalyana vratam normally observed on

panguni uttiram which is for a gud spouse.i hav a few doubts & wuld be thankful

for an early clarification .

 

1) whn is panguni uttiram xactly ? i think its panguni now but as im rite now in

usa( following eastern time) i not sure if utiram is on wednesday/thursday.

 

2)can u tell me more abt the vratam as such.

 

3)can someone giv me the correct words of the slokam 'katyaini mahamaye " to

Goddess Parvati with its meaning..
