I am after a remedy for SUN being in the 8th house.

 

I am also after mantras which may purify thoughts.

Sun may not require a remedy if it causing Vipreet Raja Yoga or is in

a Sign that is promoting your wealth, family and health.

 

Sun in Eighth is not necessarily a bad position. Eighth house is not a

malefic house but a house that deals with Moksha. It is the house of

breaking of the Ego (the individuality). If you try and find TRUE

nature, you will find the Sun enlivening deep senstivity and

identification with all others. It reveals nature's deepest secrets

including the secret behind our "binding notions".

 

If you need to chant something, the best would be Gayatri Mantra.
