As per the data you provided, your husband has Meena Lagna, and

his Janma Nakshatra is Aslesha, III Padam, Kataka Rasi.

 

Lagnadipati is in the 9th, and aspects Lagna, and this is

benefic. The lord of the 5th is in his own house, and though

Sani is also in the same house, they are not conjunct. Only bad

thing could be placement of the lord of the 9th in the 12th

along with Surya, the lord of the 6th, and Budha, who is

afflicted by Kendradipati Dosham.

 

Your husband is running Kuja Dasa - Chandra Bukti from Dec 2004

- Jul 2005. From Jul 2005 - Jul 2023, he will be running Rahu

Dasa, and Rahu Bukti will run from Jul 2005 - Mar 2008.

 

Since Kuja and Chandra rule the 9th and the 5th, this period

should be benefic, but, right now, the "Dasa Chidra" or the

period between the end of one dasa and the beginning of another

dasa is operating, and so this period is not beneficial. Also,

it is said that Rahu's Buktis are not very beneficial even

within his own Dasa, and so until Mar 2008, things may not go

great guns.

 

In Kuja Dasa, some things would have been good for your husband

because Kuja is a functional benefic. However, his placement in

the 12th could have led to losses, and his conjunction with

Surya, who makes him combust, could have led to some money

problems. Might have also been possibilities of abroad travel.

 

Concerning Rahu Dasa - Rahu is in Chandra's nakshatra Rohini,

and is in the house of Sukra, who owns two malefic houses, the

3rd and the 8th. However, Rahu is aspected by Kuja and Guru, who

are both functional benefics, and so the Dasa might not be

problematic. Also, Rahu has a Shadvarga Vimshopak of 16.50, and

so is benefic. Still, Sani rules the 11th and the 12th, and so

is malefic, and as per "Sani vad Rahu," Rahu is still capable of

causing difficulties, obstruction, losses, etc.

 

Generally, since the Bhava Bala of the 11th house is very low at

4.9, I don't think that your husband has a great deal of money,

but the strong strength of the 4th, at 10.8 rupas, implies that

he is generally quite happy.

 

His 10th house is unaspected, and the lord of the 10th Guru is

in the 9th, conjunct the Divine graha Ketu, and this perhaps

endows him with religious qualities. Since Guru aspects Rahu,

and thereby impacts Rahu Dasa, good progress in career is

indicated. However, since he is 58 years of age, one doesn't

know how much this will help!

 

As per Gochara, Ketu (3) alone is benefic, while Guru (3), Rahu

(9), and Sani (Vakra in the 12th) are not.

An excellent score, and additionally, Guru, who is Vakra and

therefore highly benefic, is saving Day from Sani, Lagna all by

himself, and Name, along with Sukra, from Surya and Ketu. The

only major affliction is that of Surya and Ketu on Tithi, but

even here, Sukra is there to offer some respite.

 

Guru also guards the Uday Nakshtra (18) and the Manas Nakshatra

(25), and this promotes growth and mental harmony. However,

though the Janma Nakshatra is unafflicted, Rahu's presence in

the Adhana Nakshatra (19) is not helpful, though Budha is also

present here. But, the biggest problem is with the Raj Nakshatra

(26), which governs achievement, and this is afflicted by Surya,

and by Sani, who is Vakra and therefore more malefic than usual.

Though Sukra also aspects this nakshatra, there is not much that

he can do against the malefic effects of Sani and Sukra. Please

ask your husband to keep praying to God for help.
