Dear Mark

I really liked the positive thinking of yours. Wish u could tell me and

guide

me how do I channelise the malefics into benefics.

Like you have already pointed out saturn, are there any other malefics in my

chart. I definitely would like to change myself.

Regards

Jugal

Dear Jugal:

There are many traditional and even some more esoteric, and even today, some

ways which haven't been practiced for a long time.

Traditionally, there are gems, yantras, mantras for each planet, certain

behavioral suggestions, though some of them, like, 'feeding the birds', are

a bit antequated.

For me, my particular research and discoveries, seems to have centered

around the fact, that all the Planets represent different aspects of

ourselves...

So, for the Sun, it represents our self-esteem, and experience of

self-worth.

For the Moon's, emotion, intuition, and inner happiness and emotional

stability are the reflections.

For Mars, physical coordination, pure, physical energy, firmness, are some

of Mars's qualities.

For Saturn, balance, health, inner peace, frustrations, delays, losses,

grief, are some of Sani's many qualities.

One of the greatest things I've discovered is, it really helps to identify

the area, within that's weak. Like identifying which muscle or muscle group

is underdeveloped, then you can focus your training on thoses muscles.

Like that, once you identify that which you want to improve, we can begin to

focus more clearly on those parts of us, that are 'weak', imbalanced, or

needing of improvement.

We've talked about Saturn, and the things I said before are very helpful.

I've learned that focusing on the Wisdoms that Saturn represents like

patience, balance, inner restfulness, and integration, has helped me

emmensely, strengthen Saturn...

Let's talk about one other planet today.

Let's say we want to strength our Moons...

For many our Moons are weak, too.

In today's world the positive values of the Moon are not much appreciated.

#1,... I learned that the Moon represents feelings and me, having my Moon in

the 12th house, meant I was at 'loss' to the wisdoms of the Moon. Also, the

fact, that my Moon was very tiny, only 1 house away from my Sun which was in

the 11th house, also helped me see, the size of my Moon was very small.

#2... Then, I started to notice by paying attention to the Moon cycle, out

there, in the transits, I immediately started becoming more 'aware' of the

total range of my emotions and feelings.

Next, I noticed that there were 2 basic cycles of the Moon. There is the

Waxing cycle and the Waning cycle. Later, I experienced by paying closer

attention to those two cycles, I noticed that I naturally started allowing

the realities of those two cycles to dominate.

When the Moon's Waning and getting smaller I noticed I too, felt like

curling up, or resting. But, when the Moon starts Waxing immediately I feel

more outward, more dynamic with even more energy.

#3... I then, started planning my every day, and common life-experiences

more in-tune with those cycles. If a person wanted to meet for work, and

they picked the New Moon, for example, I'd say, "ahhh, I'm busy that day,

but I could see you the next day, or Thursday."

No one ever felt like I was dodgeing them, because of some bizarre fear of

the Stars.

Instead, I was discovering how to take advantage with the more positive,

auspicious times/days of each month, and as a result I 'felt' better!

#4.... Finally I discovered, that rest and meditation, both, helped not only

Saturn, but my Moon as well. When I noticed I ever, felt rough, or sad, or

lonely, depressed, etc. instead of trying to make sense and find the

'reason' out there, why I was feeling that way; instead, I just knew I was

feeling 'down' because of my Moon, and then, I started giving more to

myself, on a feeling, emotional or Moon level, if you know what I mean,

hehe.

Those 2 things have really helped my Moon. None of the negatives that I'd

been experiencing most of my life, and even after 5 or so years of studying

Jyotish, went away until I started learning how to handle changeing and

improving each planet!

Hope this helps..

Sincerely,

Mark Kincaid

ps... tell me what negatives in your life, you'd like to change, and then,

we'll talk about which planet may be responsible for that reality...

and then we'll talk about which planet needs to be improved, and especially,

how!

Dear Mark

It would be really nice on your part if alongwith the benefic & malefic

description of each planet, you tell me whether its benefic or malefic in my

chart enable me identify the same with the situation.
