My birth details are

 

31st March 1961, at 09 10 am at Yadgir in Gulbarge district in India. The

Lat and long are 77.08N and 16.46 E. My rising ascendant is Taurus and the

moon sign is Virgo.

 

I find that Jupiter indeed is troubling me quite a bit, or dont know whether

it is Mercury that's troubling me. Though mercury is in the 10th house along

with Ketu, I find that it is in the 8th house in Navamsa.

 

I find it very helpful to write down the expression of our challenges, and

then, you'll be able

to see more clearly,... which planet is reflecting those frustrations...

 

Write down, what you went through and you'll be able to see whether it's

Jupiter or Mercury.

 

Quite often Jupiter's debilitation gets cancelled being in the 9th house and

with the Lord of the

9th house,...

 

but there is a basic tension between Jupiter & Saturn,... which probably is

important for you

to figure out...

 

Saturn & Jupiter being together in the same house....

 

Jupiter while in the 10th house during transit between 2001 and 2002

literally threw me into the streets as almost a bankrupt. But its movement

into the 11th house brought me abroad.

 

Venus seems good though in 12 th house retrogade. Sun and Ketu have been

extremely good. In fact whenever moon rises in Ketu star I get some money or

the other however small ot may be.

 

Rahu, I dont know. While 1980 to 1998 took me away from my home town it gave

me a very difficult period during its dasa.

 

Saturn has always been a revelation. Today was Anuradha rising in moon. The

day was hectic, but I found I could accomplish quite a bit in the office and

also got a pat in the back from my bosses. But then I was penniless.

 

I always love it when Saturn's strong in a person's chart...

partly because for the rest of us, 99% probably!, hehe, Saturn's a definite

functional malefic!

 

Am banking on tomorrows mercury's Jeshta star rising in the moon for

gettiung some money from my company. Salary has not been coming for the past

2 years. In fact we gt it trickles here that it has almost become a habit.

Just waiting for the Saturn to transit into Cancer to see whether some

dramatic changes happen.

 

Did you notice any adverse affects when Saturn was in Cancer, in late

Summer?

Most people I talked to had a hell of a time!

And then, immediate relief when it went back into Gemini,.....

so I tell them, get better prepared for when SAturn returns to Cancer, in

May of 2005

 

In fact when I landed in Indonesia in July 2002, the USD was Indian Rs.49.95

and today it is almost Rs.43 and heading towards Rs.42. And just to imagine

that all of the employees including myself have not got a penny increment.

WHile guys in India have almost doubled their salaries, My salaryu has taken

a beating due to the foreign exchange fluctuation. I don t know whether it

is because of the Jupiter Dasa running or is it due to the Mercury Bhukthi

that is running currently.

 

But in any case, I beleive astrology can give hope and also is showing the

light in the tunnel.

 

And now that you have started this group to facilitate the remedies to

convert the malefics into something positive, I am sure it would bring in a

lot of meaning to this life and the future

ps..... you're welcome, .... it's my great joy,... to be able to do

Jyotish...

having stumbled upon it,....and at the time I did, I was ready,....to do

anything,...

to help improve and alleviate...whatever was still bugging me,...

Hey John: How's it going? Nice to see you! I think in this new group, I

This practical application of Jyotish, springs from the insight that our

malefics, are good focuses, for us,

When I first started studying Jyotish, Jyotish remedies only seemed to take

up about 5% of the book, for ex.

 

But, now I realize at least 50% of one's energy could be spent in

self-transformations...

 

#1) Think of the areas of your life that you wish were better. Or maybe

something that you'd like to improve.

 

#2) Now, figure out which of your Jyotish/Astrological configurations, or

malefics, may be responsible or indicative of that 'problem' or lack of

growth....

 

#3) Now..... let's start discussing things we might do to

literally,...change and improve,....that 'planet' and then,

simultaneously,.... that area of life....

 

 

This process, is in essence,.... the heart of my transformative process

which is the gist or essence of my book, too. 2nd half really, but the very

essence....of true, consciousness jyotish!
