Your Lagna is Vrichaka, but it is at the edge of the sign, at

over 29 degrees.

 

In your chart, Surya is Neecha in Navamsa, but Sani is both

Uccha and Vargotamma, which has mixed blessings.

 

You are undergoing Rahu Dasa [Jan 2002 - Jan 2020], and Guru

Bukti [sep 2004 - Feb 2007]. Rahu is in Sravana, a star owned by

Chandra, the lord of the 9th. He is in Sani's house Makara, and

is unaspected. While Kuja and Surya subject him to Papa Katari

Yoga, Budha and Sukra also subject him to Subha Katari Yoga.

 

Rahu, therefore will give results much like Sani, because Sani

is his dispositor, and also because of "Sani Vad Rahu."

 

So, to understand Rahu better, let us consider Sani. A graha

that is Uccha gives benefic results, but we musn't forget that

Sani is the planet of philosophy. Of course, grief and solitude

being the twin pillars of philosophy, Sani provides these in

abandunce.

Now, to the nitty gritties. Rahu has a Shadvarga Vimshopak of

16.05, and Sani's own score stands at 16.75, and both these are

very benefic for you. However, please remember that these two

are krura grahas, and there is a chance that they will still

trouble you. Rahu, especially, is known for illusions, and might

make you live in a dream world, and Sani, though losing some of

his malefic nature by owning a kendra, is still bound to be

malefic.

 

The beginning of Rahu Dasa - Rahu Bukti [Jan 2002 - Sep 2004]

might have been difficult because Rahu's Buktis are generally

not good, even within his own Dasa. However, now, Guru, the lord

of the 5th is running his period. He is aspected by Sani, and so

Sani's effects will be more powerful than ever.

 

We should also look at the lords of the 1st, the 5th, and the

9th. Lagnadipati Kuja is in the 4th, but conjunct Sukra, who is

the lord of the dushtana 12th. Guru, lord of the 5th, is in a

friendly house, but in the 6th, which is not very favourable.

And finally, Chandra, the lord of the 9th, is in the 10th, but

caught in a Rasi Sandi. Chandra's Shadvarga Vimshopak is low at

9.10, and a weak Bhagyamadipati could diminish the power of a

chart.

 

Dasas are also subject to Gochara, and right now, you have Guru

in the 2nd, which is good. However, Rahu in the 8th and Ketu in

the 2nd are not positive. Sani is Vakra in the 11th, but he will

move into your 12th, and his 7.5 year period will continue in

the near future.

 

But, Sani's strength suggests strong powers of meditation, and I

would urge you to keep praying to God.

Guru manages to keep the worst at bay. Guru also protects the

Sanghtaic Nakshtra (16) from Sani and Ketu, and promotes some

cooperation. However, Uday Nakshtra (18) is afflicted by Rahu,

and this hampers rise. Rahu and Ketu also afflict the Vinash

Nakshtra (23), but safety is provided by Guru's aspect. Surya

affects the Raj Nakshatra (26) and affects achievement

adversely, but Budha blunts the malefic effects. Sukra aspects

the Abhishek Nakshtra (27) and holds out hope, but Sani in the

Manas Nakshatra (25) could cause mental tensions. As I said
