Guest guest
hello everyone i m a new member to this group . i read a few of the previous articles, queries & replies. i like the way things are explained by the senior & experienced members of the group. i saw quite a few articles in the early posts on the question of karma.i have read a few books by BRIAN WEISS who,as he claims, with the guidance of enlightened spirits(masters) can regress people to their past lives and give a better understanding of their present-life fears , obsessions & problems. i think such a technique coupled with astrology can help people to understand themselves better & create a higher degree of peace, awareness & satisfaction in their souls.this, i believe ,will also lead us to live more in harmony with our surroundings than we are currently doing. the following are the books which BRIAN WEISS has written 1) MANY MASTERS, MANY LIVES 2) ONLY LOVE IS REAL 3) THROUGH TIME INTO HEALING 4) MESSAGES FROM THE MASTERS 5) SAME SOUL, MANY BODIES i wish all of u a happy reading & hope that the truth each one of us seeks in our soul is found. anusha
Guest guest
Dear Anushya, Thanks for posting info on Brain Weiss and his technique/approach: 'regress people to their past lives and give a better understanding of their present-life fears , obsessions & problems'. In Jyotish,we normally study cosmic events and matters relating to planets and zodiacal system. With reference to the basics propounded in Vedas and further studies continued in the field,we try to delineate what makes good for some and for others bad.what any native is destined? The struggle looking to be endless has got any exception or not?If so is this moksha? If desires remain endless the change of bodies and form lead to what ultimate results. Finally is there any refinement process involved in human lives. Is this practicable and attainable in the normal course of life? may be these issues remain unresolved but the techniques explored through Astrology will make the life better as it emphsises that one can set right his past and present through spirtuality and bring a process of contentment and aim for moksha i.e salvation. krishnan anushavaidy82 <anushavaidy82 wrote: hello everyone i m a new member to this group . i read a few of the previous articles, queries & replies. i like the way things are explained by the senior & experienced members of the group. i saw quite a few articles in the early posts on the question of karma.i have read a few books by BRIAN WEISS who,as he claims, with the guidance of enlightened spirits(masters) can regress people to their past lives and give a better understanding of their present-life fears , obsessions & problems. i think such a technique coupled with astrology can help people to understand themselves better & create a higher degree of peace, awareness & satisfaction in their souls.this, i believe ,will also lead us to live more in harmony with our surroundings than we are currently doing. the following are the books which BRIAN WEISS has written 1) MANY MASTERS, MANY LIVES 2) ONLY LOVE IS REAL 3) THROUGH TIME INTO HEALING 4) MESSAGES FROM THE MASTERS 5) SAME SOUL, MANY BODIES i wish all of u a happy reading & hope that the truth each one of us seeks in our soul is found. anusha ~! Guest guest
Namaste, In vedic spirituality only great yogis and seers have the insight into their own and other's past lives. What we "know" about our past lifes, are the impulses and preferences we exhibit. This is the result of our past karma. Astrology gives us an excellent understanding of ourselves and the remedies we should adopt to overcome / minimise the negative karma. I have not read the author you mentioned but a detailed understanding of our past lives can be a more a burden than a benefit, as normally we cannot remember any of the details. The burden of knowing the details of our deaths and the crimes that we may have committed or crimes that others may have committed on us... Peace and enligtenment can be achieved by the many paths that the seers and yogis have laid out before us, and to the best of my knowledge there is no system wherein one brings into our present consciousness the deeds and misdeeds of our past regards arun
