Guest guest
Dear Krishnan: I find it quite interesting seeing and finding the Jyotish reasons why 'many' people are attracted to spiritual concerns. Even our President, George Bush, has an interesting flavor. He's got Moon & Jupiter both together in Virgo in his chart, and though he really was a bit of a playboy, so to speak when he was younger, now, he's found it important to him, even that he has a kind of mission from God.... Almost anytime when Jupiter is with either the Moon, or Sun, or in the first house, one's spiritual nature, is almost automatic, as you said. What I'm particularly interested in, in addition to finding the Astrological reasons why we're the way we are.... is also figuring out what 'malefic' influences, are also involved in our charts, and are in very real ways, sometimes undermining, or slowing down our progress. I'll give you an example. I have Moon & Saturn together in my 12th house, and fully aspected by a Jupiter in Pisces in the 6th. So, spiritual interests came very early for me too. However, there are some powerful negative aspects to both the Moon & Saturn being in the 12th.... and when I learned this, and then, figured out how to literally change and improve that part of me,... then all the negative aspects of having those 2 important planets in the 12th house of 'loss'..... ceased...being like that... This is my greatest interest in Jyotish, how we can and perhaps, are in fact, supposed, to learn certain things, which are usually associated with our malefics... but too often not understood that 'they' are really our opportunities, for growth and change... take care nice talking with you. Guest guest
Deaar Mark, Certainly Iam in total agreement with your approach. In my case if I look back and think of my lagna, along with 5th(Aries) it's lords placement in 6th along with Mars and Rahu and the lord of 6th in 8th along with saturn, sun and venus(sign of Cancer a watery sign).9th that of leo and thelord going to 12th of 9th is thing I grope about.yet I would like to be spirtual out and out.Like all kinds of puja and believe strongly in vedic culture.Ultimately on this day of commencing for yet another New Year I just thank Almighty for his creation as he has blessed mercury in kendra(7th) sandwitched between mars and Rahu and the other planets mentiond in the sign of cancer. I do not know significance of these palnets in the houses mentioned above throws any further light.
