Dear Rohini & All:

 

When one studies, Jyotish/Astrology, especially....

 

and especially utilizing the transit's system....

 

one discovers many Astrological correlates for more spiritual moments...

 

I have watched these and all kinds of Astrological moments it's very

fascinating, to behold..

 

I thought this year, and month, when the Sun started returning through

Sagittarius, this

is a very more typical, spiritual time...

 

and lo and behold,....we had the Holidays.... that may come from the word,

'Holy days!'....

 

and Jyotish says there aren't any planets that don't do well in

Sagittarius...

 

Then there are individual moments of each day, when the Moon or Sun or even

Mercury

come under Jupiter's glances....

 

Like the spiritual dharshan, we hear about...

 

Then there's the fact that at any moment, we ourselves, can sit down, and

closing the eyes,

transcend...any and all relative Astrological configurations...

 

and contact the inner, source of Spirituality....being...

or God... him/herself....

 

With that potential,.... the field of Spirituality, of course, is very

rich....

 

Finally, in my experience.... there are 3 primary aspects of Jyotish that

simultaneously go on,

and during any one of these, spiritual realities do happen...

 

1) We've talked about the transits, which are really the flavor of

'reality' coming to us, as if, from the outside.... some relative or

mundane,....and others, more 'spiritual'....

 

2) Then, there are personal times in each of our lives, which corresponding

with unique more

spiritual, aspects of our individual charts.... which are the dasas,.....

incline us more to spiritual

experiences...

 

Winter is like that for me..... having Saturn in the 12th.... and since

Saturn rules Winter, my

experiences in the Winter, when everything slows down, and turns more

inward,....I am inclined for more inner experiences....

 

meditation is deeper, more powerful....

 

3) And finally, there are the powerful influences of each one of our

charts...

 

the details of our charts, indicate more or less spirituality,

inclinations....and interest in developing, such a life....

Astrology of realization (back to astrology)

 

 

 

It is wonderful to be able to hear such wonderful thoughts, some

original, others borrowed about spirituality and meditation and

realization etc. We are blessed that we are in the company of not

just wonderfully accomplished astrologers, but also thinkers,

philosophers, spiritually advanced beings.

 

For one who is seeking the spiritual path, what could be more

epiphanous, more exhilerating than the moment of spiritual

advancement. Those must indeed be moments of light that depict a

milestone in one's life. And, if we have been truthful about

astrology, it must clearly show up in the charts of individuals.

 

Any personal experiences, dear friends that you would like to share

with all of us. The astrology of the moment of spiritual upliftment,

or spiritual advancement the 'Aha!' moment in your spiritual lives or

perhaps in someone else's life who could be a spiritual friend or

peer or perhaps your teacher?

Dear Mr Mark.

Some how as a Sagittrian by ascendent and with moon in makara I feel that iam

bound by spirtuality from the child hood.I entirely agree with your post.Also

there is exchange of of 2nd lord ,saturn and 8th lord moon with .aspect of lagna

lord jupiter in 11th also aspects mercury in 7th.May be other members too would

be able to test these combinations and find the results.
