Guest guest Posted December 26, 2004 Report Share Posted December 26, 2004 I feel we all are getting involved in irrelevant debates.Our question is not whether we need to call astrology a Science or Literature.For instance I work in computer field.It was not there in olden times.We call it computer science.Does that mean that all the computer professionals in the world are going behind the science to get recongnised by them.Tomorrow if I feel that I should address this as Computer Literature ,nobody stops me from that.Ultimately at the end of the day what really matters is what the Output is ?So I have the liberty of addressing this as computer history or literature in my oraganisation .Nobody stops me from that cause what really matters is my output and that is how I do my work. By Addressing it as Science , I have only opted my preference of addressing it.I don't force it on anyone that all should address the same way I do.Dear members if you feel like addressing this as Astrological Literature you are most welcome and most appreciated.However lets not deviate from our goal of sharing information within members. Rohini Ranjan, I really appreciate your statement" before it claims its place in the universe of respectability".This addresses your concern that the subject has not yet gained total universal acceptance.Yes it has to go long way to get in there.And Iam sure a team like ours ,who are so good in representing our ideas and feelings will be able to do this great job too.Really a good point to stress on.
