Sprituality and religious belief are governed by an indivisual's

genetic make up and brain chemicals , says Dean H Hamer, director of

the Gene Structure and Regulation at National Cancer Institute US.

 

In his book The God Gene : How Faith is Hardwired Into Our Genes ,-

 

He says the brain chemicals monomines are important brain chemicals

After comparing more than 2000 DNA samples, they concluded that

higher the VMAT2 gene score, the greater a person's ability to

believe in a greater spritual force. Sprituality is all about

feeling conneceted to the universe.These chemcals are resposible for

mystical trances experienced by Bhudhist practitioners and other

sprituals and even mind altering drugs like peyote.

 

Spritual tendencies are part of genetic make up , not a thing

strictly handed down from parents to children. Like intelligence ,

they can skip a generation.While the genetic aspect explains why

people capable of sprituality, how and when that develops depends on

circumstances and people's life trajectory. It's more common for

people to turn spritual later in life.

As a researcher on quantum mechanics and physics, inventor on the

field of energy conversion and simultaneously as spiritualist I

would like to add my opinion in this discussion – from spiritual and

scientific view. This means how I think as researcher and scientist,

and how I think as Vaishnav and Shaiva. To not make it too

complicate I will compact it `all in one'.

Actually it is exactly opposite: an individual's genetic make up and

brain chemicals are governed by mind and soul. Genes are a by-

product, which resulted from the interaction of mind and soul with

this material world. The gross body and its genes, which are made of

five elements, first were created on a subtle level, in our previous

lifetime.

 

The genes we carry in ourselves in this lifetime are a product of

the mind, which is a vehicle for the soul. The vehicle transports

the soul from one body to the other, life after life, when the body

dies, the mind brings the soul forth out of the body, traveling

through time and space, according to one's karma into the new birth.

 

While action in our previous lifes during the life a subtle body

already was created, which pre-destined the body we have today! The

genes we `owe' today are a result of our thinking and acting of

previous lifes, karma.

 

Scientists unfortunately only occupy with symptoms, and too little

with the causes. This is why quantum physicists are more occupied

with trying to find out the causes not only watching the symptoms,

as Dean H Hamer does, by observing genetic Codes.

 

He counted the genes spiritualists carry in them, and after this

determined spirituality depends on the number of genes.

 

This is the same we learned steam is lighter than air, because it is

hotter, which is the reason, for example why clouds rise in to the

sky. The example as with Hamer, mere observation of symptoms. The

cause of steam rising up in the air is gravity, and not what

As steam doesn't rise due to heat, spirituality does not depend on

some number of genes.
